Yeah, I dont think you can strike Kotor 2 against Obsidian. It was obvious that the publishers forced a premature release. When you think about it, Kotor 2 has a much more intricate and engaging plot than the first one did. And there's a lot of interesting things and NPC interaction going on in it.
The sad thing is that you can just feel it's incompleteness permeating after you beat the game.

More like a mediocre game. I like FPSes, and I like RPGs. Fallout 3 combines both, but comes out as a master of none. As an RPG, it fails at dialogue. Alright, even if I give it credit for being one of the better dialogue-focused RPGs in recent years, I've seen better 10 years ago. It's simply a regression. As an FPS, it's combat is so incredibly watered down I can't think of any reason why they'd want to make it an FPS besides to look at boobies.
