0.480.3 just hit the experimental branch, featuring:
- Mining Companions won't lose the ore they carry then they are returning to Enceladus by themselves.
- Significantly increased onboard computer resistance to overheating.
- In some areas of the rings, ships could turn the wrong way during the pre-astrogation procedure, only to flip around to correct orientation once the cutscene starts.
- Fixed number of possible crashes in the new Mining Companion Guiding Drone / SANBUS code.
- Added savegame compatibility layers for some old saves that would not load in 0.480.0 and later.
- Ships that you salvage are now properly displayed in your ship logs.

Feedback Focus: Release candidate. This version polishes up the final touches on Mining Companions, and with the bugs fixed I'd like to publish it ASAP. Please let me know if anything works worse than in the current stable branch.
0.481.0 just the experimental branch, featuring a number of gamepad control improvements:
- Your own cradled equipment won't be targeted with gamepad targeting sweep.
- Time is now slowed down when you are targeting with gamepad sweep.
- Your ship will point towards your autopilot target. You can still adjust the direction with the right analogue stick, but it will snap back when you release it.
- Tapping R3 will disengage the current autopilot lock now - without disengaging the autopilot.
- You can order your guiding drone with a gamepad by pressing L3 while you are doing R3 autopilot targeting sweep.

Feedback Focus: Gamepad controls.
0.482.1 just the experimental branch, featuring more gamepad control improvements and fixes:
- You can now move the sliders in the tuning menu with analogue sticks.
- Autopilot velocity control is now relative by default, making it easier to approach ore with autopilot. You can press down the stick (L3) to perform absolute manoeuvres.
- Obonto Habitats PDT now requires stations to dislike you more before they fire at you.
- Processed cargo is now attributed to your ship on the Dive Summary.

Feedback Focus: Gamepad controls, especially the new autopilot control.
0.483.1 just the experimental branch, featuring yet more gamepad control improvements:
- Updated the tutorial to match new gamepad controls.
- Fine-tuned certain aspects of the tutorial to make it more obvious what should be done with a gamepad.
- The gamepad targeting beam is now more visible.
- Using the right analogue stick will now pan the screen.

Feedback Focus: Gamepad controls, especially the new autopilot control.
0.484.2 just the experimental branch, featuring probably the final gamepad control improvements and some additional polish on top:
- Adjusted frequency of "wild rings" soundtrack playing.
- Adjusted spawn rates for asteroids when many ships are around.
- When playing with a gamepad, the controls menu shows gamepad controls now.
- You can select gamepad, keyboard or automatic detection of your control scheme now.

Feedback Focus: Gamepad controls, especially the new autopilot control. This is a release candidate, if nothing bad comes along, this version should hit the default branch soon.
0.484.4 just the experimental branch, featuring:
- Thruster power, damage and remass consumption for thrusters and torches that have a significant wind-up will now scale properly.
- Fixed some bugs in handling of achievements, which could unlock some of them prematurely.
- Random encounters will not appear near the very rim of the rings, preventing you from exiting the rings accidentally. Saved encounters will relocate automatically.
- Obonto habitats won't tell you that they are trading with you once you dock if you didn't actually agree to trade.
- Updated translations, fixed typos.
- New gamepad image for the settings menu.

Feedback Focus: Release candidate.
0.484.10 just the experimental branch, featuring:
- Fixed the background loader, which could sometimes cause the game to hang up on transition between Enceladus and Rings.
- Fixed a bug that caused the game to crash when a member of your crew was returning from sick leave and quitting his job simultaneously.
- Added "extra content" widget in the title menu on applicable platforms.
- Fixed a number of typos.

Feedback Focus: The big change is the loader change. If all went well, you won't notice anything (short of some bugs missing), but please let me know if you encounter anything weird during game loading/switching between Enceladus and The Rings.
0.484.11 just the experimental branch, featuring:
- The EI1337 autopilot will work properly with your gamepad now.
- Other autopilots used to alter their course once you grabbed an ore chunk if your approach vector was not aligned to the chunk's approach vector.
- If your crewmember found a person they were looking for and survived the encounter, they won't ask search&resuce teams for them again.

Feedback Focus: Autopilot controls.
0.484.15 just hit the experimental branch, featuring:
- The comms window will not scroll so much when you open it to reply to a new conversation
- Separate positions for in-ring income and expenses in your ship logs.

Feedback Focus: Release candidate. Please report anything that's worse than in the current stable branch. Changes are relatively minor.
0.484.17 just the experimental branch, featuring:
- Your astrogators won't be able to fold space without access to spice anymore.
- Changed spring stiffness and physical properties for Eagle Prospector and Bald Eagle baffle to make them work better when collecting low-density ore.
- Claim beacons won't fire all their thrusters when trying to spin up. They will use their reaction wheels to control their spin instead.

Feedback Focus: Astrogation. There was a significant change in how the astrogation works under the hood, so please lookout for any side effects.
0.484.18 just hit the experimental branch, featuring gamepad fixes:
- Autopilot control on the gamepad didn't work if you actually picked "gamepad", it worked only on "auto"
- Some buttons in the settings menu were skipped when you navigated with a gamepad, making choices annoying.
- When using automatic control scheme selection, if you picked up a gamepad while the controls menu was open, you could end up with a state that required you to use the mouse to progress.
- You could not navigate back from the "save/cancel" buttons back to the settings menu with the gamepad or keyboard alone.

Feedback Focus: Gamepad control.
0.486.3 just hit the experimental branch, featuring:
- Sound effect during adrenal boost will now have adjusted pitch and sound suitably slowed down.
- Improved performance of LIDAR rendering. LIDAR won't be rendered for non-player ships anymore.
- Exiting the Crew menu when using a gamepad or keyboard will now give you correct focus on the Enceladus menu.
- You won't be able to exit Enceladus menus accidentally by pressing left on your d-pad or keyboard.
- SMES upgrades will now switch from recharging to power delivery in 0.1 seconds (previously 1 second). This prevents depleting your main ultracapacitors and blackouts when you use equipment with high peak power requirements.
- Graphical glitches from the overheated onboard computer will now not be so prominent when the damage is not severe.
- Music hints will now play for more events.
- Once you discover a mystery, the mystery music will slowly fade away. This is most prominent around moonlets and habitats.
- Added inhabitants to the docking ring of Enceladus.
- If your ship is damaged, you'll be able to see repairs conducted on your ship on Enceladus.
- Some spotlights on Enceladus were pointed in the wrong direction.

Feedback Focus: Release candidate. Please report anything you find working worse than in the stable branch.
0.486.17 just hit the experimental branch, featuring:
- Some of the pirates flew with ships that showed no turbines and capacitors if captured.
- New multi-monitor display code to address a number of issues on Linux systems.

Feedback Focus: With the new display code, the critical thing is if the game displays right for you. Either full-screen or borderless window should be usable on all the systems, properly covering your entire screen, but showing the toolbar where required by the host system. I know that borderless window will ignore multiple monitors on some Linux systems - this seems to be an issue between the game engine itself and your windows manager, which does not respect the current screen when asked to maximize the game window. You should still be able to tell your window manager to move the window to another screen and your screen resolution should be respected. Please let me know if you encounter any other display issues - especially on Linux and Mac platforms, to which I don't have direct access.
0.486.25 just hit the experimental branch, featuring:
- Windows-only crashes related to rapid resizing of your game window isolated to Nahimic drivers conflicting with NVidia ones. This is a common case for OpenGL applications, usually manifesting as applications failing to start on a secondary monitor. Either blacklist Delta-V.exe in Nahimic drivers or just disable the service if you are affected.
- New, faster viewport resizing when you scale your game window.
- Fixed a bug that caused the horizontal minimum size of your game window to not be respected.
- Changing the resolution scale in windowed mode will now be applied immediately.
- When you lose a crewmember during a dive for any reason, their reflection will now disappear from the OMS screen.
- Fixes for borderless window and fullscreen modes on Linux systems, now staring with correct resolution and on correct screen in all the (tested) cases, respecting window decorations and additional toolbars your window manager might impose.
- When in windowed mode, the monitor selection dropdown will be disabled, as it is meaningless.

Feedback Focus: Release candidate. A number of display fixes will help players that experienced graphics glitches, so I want to push this to the stable branch ASAP. Please report anything that works worse than in the default branch. The most prominent changes are in window/borderless/fullscreen handling and monitor switching, please verify that it works well on your platform. TIA!
0.486.26 just hit the experimental branch, featuring:
- When bringing in multiple lifepods to BBW for bounty, you'll get a bounty for each one.
- The undocking procedure of BBW is now less likely to throw you in the exhaust of the frigate.

Feedback Focus: Bounty hunting.
