I bought this game along side torchlight from Gog lat week. I completed 1 run of torchlight with a warrior and I'm after my last crystal in darkstone. Both games are a lot of fun to play. I am using a thief and a warrior and they combine well. I ran into a problem which I posted separately, but generally, they are both worth the money gog charges.
I bought this game some time ago but I only just started getting into it 3 or 4 days ago. I must say, I'm surprised how much I like it. It does lots of little things right. Some minor inconveniences like not easily being able to see items on the floor, but it has a definite charm to it. Currently going solo with a warrior for my first run through.
its cheaply made and thus its a complete surprise how good it is!

Same people that made Another World so ya, makes sense.........also made Shaq Fu but we won't count that lol

Back in the day I played the Playstation version which was selling for 10 bucks at the time. It took up an entire memory card lol so factor the price of a card with the game but it still was a good deal.

Only 6 of 15 blocks - you could have two games saved on a single card, heh. Longtime fan of the PS version.

Certainly less space than the PS version of Civ 2 at 10 blocks, or Gran Turismo where one replay save plus garage really does take the entire card... =)

i bought it cause i've played it once at my friends place and wanted to play it a bit more. never had the chance. game was on sale today so i got it for 1.5 USD.
This one has been on my "to-buy" list since it came out. I was a teenager when it was released and I could only manage to scrape up enough for about one game per month mowing lawns, trading in, etc. So I had to very tactically choose my purchases for games. Should I get two used games? Two new budget games (like a double-pack, or when games went down to $20 after being a couple of years old)?

As such my "to-buy" list has grown in enormity, especially after adulthood when I just can't chew through games like I used to. And sometimes I want to spend some time with a game and replay it instead of being like "Crap, I have 10 more I need to play." Unfortunately, by this time when I go back through my list and try to get some of these games for the first...they are so old and unattractive-looking (early 3D is grotesque), or have such dated gameplay conventions that I don't know how to cope. New games spoil you by letting you do so much so fast with interface streamlining that when you go to older games and the interface seems childlike and inefficient...bleh.

Anyway, I'm totally stoked for this game, but it doesn't run on my PC yet. So I'm rambling here instead. :D
