karmahero: P.S. Also, as much I do enjoy Keanu Reeves and even the Johnny Silverhand character, there was way, way too much of it in this story. A valid argument could be made that it's not really the story of "V" (the player), but it's really just Johnny's epilogue that V plays a role in.
While everyone has their opinions, that was my interpretation of the entire game. You "V" were just along for the ride, the star of the show is Johnny. He was a narcissistic egotistical dick head, that only used people for his ends, and nobody really liked him.
Now he is in your head, being a narcissistic egotistical dick head, and he is using you the same way he used everyone else. He isn't going after Arasaka for some heroic purpose (anti-corprate/anti-capatialist), they took something from him, and now he wants to give them a black eye, and he wants to use your body to do it.
The game to me was about trying to survive in a world, where you are constantly being used for some other persons gain, and you keep being a tool. Whether it is Johnny, a corp, NCPD, or a fixer.
To me its why the nomad ending was the "best", at least you finally get to do something you want to do.
