Day 3 still cant get the game to load Iv installed the game on 3 different hard drives

BlackSun: Same here, Win7.
CTD after changing game to run on secomdary display at super wide resolution, then installed new nVidia drivers. Worked. Tried again, but CTD after creation, right after wiping the mirror. Custom character, gone.
Did that again, and CTD even before I get to the mirror.
I've been playing for a while now, and it runs much better with fewer issues in the city. I think it's the starts that got it the worst.

As for what I did, I simply... don't know. I was stubborn and tried it like... 4 or 5 times? Creating character, and quicksaving (F5) as soon as I could ingame to get past the mirror scene, since that one seems to be one of the biggest issues. Later on, in the city apartment, the bathroom mirror does the same, except I never got that one to work ever, whereas the Nomad start mechanic's window worked well enough - 1st crash was after wiping the mirror. 2nd crash was while wiping the mirror. 3rd crash was immediately on seeing the mirror. 4th one crashed in the loading screen basically. May have mixed up the order of the last two, but something among those lines anyways. Then, it just... kind of worked.

Well, at that point, I was already spamming F5 on loading in, and the game told me the action was blocked. Maybe that's what "distracted" the game long enough for me to actually get past the mirror scene and get a quicksave in? Ran fine afterwards though, even if it did CTD here and there still.
Still won't start don't know why

I've got AMD Ryzen 5 2600
32 GB of ram
Geforce RTX 2060 6GB VRAM
creating the character, I closed the game. i can't restart it

Maybe CD RED will fix everything in a couple of weeks :D
>Download several gbs game
>check file integrity
>good

>click icon
>crash to desktop on launch "Flatlined"
>update to 1.04

I launched the game prior to the latest patch and it started up and ran just fine. I created my character several nights ago. The game was patched to the latest version 2 days ago and since then I can't get past the initial splash screen. It immediately CTDs and I get the Flatlined error that others have stated... I've tried running verify/repair in GOG multiple times, uninstalled, re-downloaded and re-installed all over again, yet the problem still persists! SO SO frustrating... Please provide a fix for this already! This is the ONLY game that I've played with these issues... I love CDPR and I'm SO excited to play this game, but I would just FINALLY like to ACTUALLY play it!

My hardware setup:
- i7 2600k+ Sandy Bridge (O.C. to 4.4Ghz)
- 16Gb RAM
- EVGA RTX 2080 Black Edition Gaming
- Samsung SSD

*Update* I finally fixed the problem... apparently a corruption present in my "C:\Users\ (your login name)\AppData\Local|CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077" directory was causing the crashes. I deleted the entire "CD Projekt Red" directory and the game launched - FINALLY!

I can't seem to make a new topic so I'm asking here

I installed the game on GOG, waited for it to update to 1.0.4 and it won't launch at all, keeps giving me the same error:: "Cyberpunk 2077 has flatlined."

Help please?

TiedtoTheTea - try the fix that worked for me.

Ok, I take that back... It worked to launch me into the game. I entered the menu to make some changes, as soon as I pressed ESC to exit the menu, it crashed... now it's doing the same thing all over again!! WTF....

I am now attempting to revert my install back to rev 1.03 in GOG. Will update my results once it completes.

Windows 7 SP1
Intel i7-3770k
nvidia 1070
Latest nvida drivers 460.79

I have the same problem. Generally the game will cause the video card drivers to crash. I have a dual monitor setup and often it will completely shut down the monitor I have the game being played on. Sometimes the game crashes during the startup advertisements (things used in making the game I assume), sometimes I can go through character creation, if I play as corporate, the game crashes as soon as I get the phone call.

However it has gotten past this error twice, once as street kid, and once as the outland.

As suggested in another thread I deleted the Users/<acct name>/AppData/Local/CD Projekt Red/Cyberpunk 2077 directory. Once it seemed to work as I could run the game, but it has not made a difference since then.

The game has worked has worked 2 times out of say 30 attempts.

Hmm... I'm not 100%, but if you have never been able to pass the initial splash screen, I'm not sure that it would even create that directory? I could be wrong about this. This directory contains one folder "cache" w/ one file called "GamePipelineLibrary.cache" (368kb on mine) and then the "UserSettings.json" file in the root directory of the Cyberpunk 2077 folder.

Yeah I'm not seeing that at all. Game isn't even launching for me. :(
When GOG downloads the game install files, is there anyway to install this game outside of the GOG interface, or does it have to install the temp files it sets up through GOG?? I'm getting tired of re-downloading 56Gb of data each time I need to reinstall the game..

Nevermind... I can see under the GOG "Extras" tab down at the bottom there is a section labeled OFFLINE BACKUP INSTALLERS and then it lists:
Cyberpunk 2077 1.03 104 GB
Patch (1.03 to 1.04) 1.04 1.0 MB
Patch (1.03 to 1.04) 1.04 600 MB

When you click one of those it will add it to the download queue just FYI.

Reverted to 1.03 and game crashed at startup again... I deleted the AppsData CD Projekt Red folder again, game booted up, loaded save game, played until I went into menus to change some things, upon exit of menu back to game it CTD again... What gives??? I don't understand this... Anyone know if there a way to have the game create the shared folder in a different directory (ie. not in C:\Users\(your user name)\AppsData)??

Update: I solved the issue. It appears that for some odd reason Geforce Experience never installed the latest driver even though I literally watched it install successfully? What tipped me off to this is that when I went into the Graphics menu in the game, DLSS was greyed out which I found strange b/c I had previously (prior to the 1.04 patch) been able to change DLSS settings. When I launched Geforce Experience, it appeared as if the latest GPU driver was not installed any longer... I installed it and voila, all is kosher again. No crashes, smooth as butter. The only thing I can think of that could have caused this (aside from the update to 1.04) was that I had installed Reshade after downloading a reshade mod from the Nexus... I'm not sure if it's possible that Reshade did something strange to the GPU driver(?) but anyways, case and point - even if you have installed the latest Nvidia driver, check to make sure you have again. And if it is installed, do a reinstall anyways.
