Coelocanth: You're making the game a helluva lot harder by not taking a mage with you.
Mostly because of Jaheira, I would gladly have a mage if I can get rid of Khalid, but than I have to get rid of Jaheira, Dynaheir is an Invoker which I don't know what can they do and I have to take Minsc along. Xan is too weak.

I am thinking of getting this guy name Quayle is an Illusionist, what can he do?

Dynaheir is a mage. An Invoker is a specialist mage, just like Illusionist is. Invokers cannot use spells from the Conjuration or Enchantment school. Illusionists cannot use spells from the Necromancy school. Xan is an Enchanter, and as such cannot use spells from the Evocation (Dynaheir's) school.

Quayle is a Cleric/Illusionist, and he is virtually useless: his WIS is only 10, so his cleric spell list will be lacking. The rest of his stats (except for 17 INT) are abysmal, too.
If you have Dynaheir, then you have a mage. She is a specialist mage, an invoker. Means she gets one more spellslot per level compared to non-specialised mages, but that she can't cast some spells, from whichever is the opposite school of invocation. Minsc is a pretty good character, so well worth taking along. Boo is the boss! :)

Please tell me they leveled up at least 4-5 without being in my party, I really do not want to grind them up a few levels, also I will miss Jaheira, she was a good healer.

No, NPCs who are not in your party do not get experience. There are mods available that allow for joinable NPCs to level to your approximate level when recruited, but it does not happen in vanilla BG.

Shit, well what is the best way to grind them right now, keep sleeping until a random encounter happens, do I go Wyvern Hunting?
If she is well behind you, then grinding will be quite boring. The best place to grind in BG1 is in a cave on the western coast, in the same map where there is a shipwreck and lighthouse, if I recall correctly. In there a golem will keep spawning when you sleep, and he gives good XP. Suppose you could temporarily remove some party members to make the process quicker, as long as you're able to kill the darn thing.

A more cheaty option is to simply edit her XP to be on par with the rest of the group with an editor (Shadowkeeper).

When NPCs join your party, their level will be roughly the same as your own, but if she joined long ago and has been sitting in an Inn in the meanwhile, then she could be quite far behind in levels by now, as levels don't automatically go up in BG for NPCs not in the party.
IMO the Bard would complement your current party better:
Advantages;
1. He can use all the same scrolls and wands that a mage can.
2. He keeps the shortbow for doing messy work… special arrows (dispel etc) will often help better than a spell anyway.
3. He can wear armour up to chain and the song has some uses in BG1.
Disadvantages;
1. He can’t cast spells from his memory whilst in (non-elf) armour… wands and such are still fine.
2. He only memorises spells up to level 6 and gets very few casts per day when compared to a normal mage.

If you have your heart set on a mage then Safana is my pick but you have to up her intel with a certain book and most people like to keep them for themselves… it’s your game m8.

The absolute best way for gaining XP (without grinding, which is laborious and boring), is to do quests and side-quests. Talk to everybody (especially NPCs with names), accept anything that won't tip your party's reputation, and sleep out in the open, not at inns. If you can manage it, remove all other party members that are unnecessary while doing this, so that the XP doesn't get diluted again.

Alright than and heck my main character fighter (Argronok) is so powerful he has AC 5- and the Long Sword+ 2 which has 2+ THAC0 and 2+ Cold Damage.

Might aswell have him along with just Dyneheir and this other Druid I found along the way.

Strip Khalid naked, go into battle and let him get killed. Don't raise him. I believe Jaheira will stay with you.

Alternately, you can take Khalid into a random house, then remove him from the party (do this while he's inside and the rest of you are outside). Since he can't come up to you to initiate the "Damn, you don't want me around anymore? " dialog, Jaheira will stay. Just don't go back into the building and you're good to go.

You cannot do this in BG1, unless you are playing it through BGT/TuTu: the BG1 engine will not allow a split party to go through transition doors.

Bah! I keep forgetting what the vanilla BG1 rules are since I always play in the BG2 engine through the BGT now.

You can do it in unmodded BG1, I did it myself. Ironically when I returned a few chapters later he didn't try to rejoin and when I talked to him he said something like "I wish good luck to any of you".

No, you cannot. The BG1 engine does not allow it. If you try to move a single party member through a transition door, you get the (awful) "You must gather your party before venturing forth" message.
