AlefThau: Where to contact them ? They do not read the forum and certainly not our posts (of the 4-5 frustrated Mac players :)...
Im on several forums ( steam / gog / Larian ) and I know that the MAC full release was a big point.
They know that one more delay between steam and gog will be hard to swallow.
Maybe they don't give a shit, but they know.
In any case, my Friends who have BG3 on windows and Steam, are asking me if I finally can get the game... They do not know what GOG is, and I think that seeing my misfortune, they are not happy to not know it ...
People, cut GOG some slack, ok? It is just a game distribution platform. They are not the ones uploading game files to their servers - the developers/distributors do that.

It is understandable that Larian went on and uploaded the patch to Steam first, and then it took them some time to upload it to GOG as well and to update the game metadata in order to enable the Mac version. At least the EA Mac version was removed from GOG catalogue when the PC game launched, unlike on Steam where the Mac version was there all the time alongside the full PC release with zero indication that it was actually the EA.

Not having a game target macOS at all or not launching on GOG makes us second-class citizens. A delay of several hours doesn't.

That is fair. But gog could do a better job communicating with its' customers, instead of leaving all of us in the dark. I seriously doubt that gog had to delay their release for PC users (relative to steam).

If there was to be a delay this time around, they should communicate it. Many users were insinuating it might not arrive until after the weekend.

I've hit at least two bugs so far in the Mac version.

1) Crash while rotating camera while holding Left Cmd to highlight objects.
2) Low res version of avatar while looking at the inventory. I know on the PC version of via Wine/Whisky that I've been playing for the last two months, it didn't look so low res / out of focus.

Bonus:

3) Despite resetting controls I can't right click directly on the trackpad. I need to hold Option then left click.
