This is great because we won't have to listen to the Mac users shocked to discover they have the EA version. This is bad because we will have to listen to the Mac users complaining about all the old stuff that everyone complained about when they got it new.

yes i hope Larian starts them at the same patch 3 as PC and PS5... at least that way we all have the same busted crap & rule changes to put up with ;)

Do you think the game will run well on the M2? This will be my first game on Mac.

honestly no, its a very Gpu heavy game that has issues on PC or PS5 so its not going to run 'well' yet

That's disappointing. I am hoping it runs better than my pc.

think it is going to depend. if you run it at Ultra settings, you may notice some degradation. Larian is working on optimization, especially with Act 3, so things will improve.

Hi there,

I downloaded GOG Galaxy and it told me that i can Download BG3 for Mac now.
Done.

But BG3 does not start, it „checks BG3“ but then nothing happens.
Im using an iMac Pro 2017.

Someone else with this kind of issue?

I don't think the mac version has released yet. It is supposed to release at some undisclosed time today, but not yet.

The mac release was delayed until tomorrow.

I play it on my MBP though wine, and get 60fps in ultra on 1440, so yeah, you should be fine :D
