Dwarves, Day 21

I have recently discovered the 'Cities' tab, and have made sure everything is running full pelt for once.

Wow. That was much closer to an epic loss than I expected. Forced me to spend money in a manner I definitely didn't want to do.

Orcs, Day 22

This was one of those turns that made me nearly surrender my empire.

Explored a temple, which had several zombies and a blue fire elemental. I looked at the elemental and noticed dominate - thought I'd manage to kill him before he could use it, which I naturally didn't. Also, what I didn't notice was that he had physical immunity. Lost my cardinal and bear, had to buy back my warlord after fleeing.

Also visited some ruins and lost two heroes and a chaplain since I forgot that ruins raise dead. Fun all the way. At least those were new recruits.

Add to that the two heroes I lost last turn thanks to the 'let's focus on Mimo, he's a bigger threat' dwarves and it's all going as planned.

Dwarves, Day 22

Still trying to figure out how to persuade the Orcs to fight Mimo, who is the other side of the map. Maybe if I attack more it'll be persuasive? Maybe not?

Alright, so, Mimo. I'm going to need you to just sit tight for a dozen turns or so while I go build a wall between these two. Just don't move, I'll be right back after I convince them that a 3v1 on Mimo is a better idea than letting Mimo fight someone 1v1. Can you do that for me, buddy?

Dark Elves, Day 22

In honor of my peeps rolling on double deuces, we stayed in our crib and drank 40's. Even poured a little out for the poor Minotaur and Draconian Hero we had to kill for stepping to us.

Ate up a bunch of our spell points too which is what we were actually mourning.

Michael Jordan Day across the land. In his honor, we performed a slam dunk from the free throw line.

Unfortunately, the ball ricocheted off a couple of Halfling heads knocking the poor buggers unconscious. While they were dazed and confused, someone stole their housekeys. I promise to investigate.

Others masquerade as scheming spies to try and penetrate our defenses, but for said others, it does not come naturally. If only I could meet another persecuted race like my own to form a friendship. Perhaps an Orc will extend an olive branch? I know that Dwarves and Halflings no nothing of honor.
