Other Orcs, Day 59

We stomp on some things we were looking to stomp on, and we finally acquire a nomad tower! Turns out there was a caravan helping guard that town, but it wouldn't join us so oh well.

We also say STFU to the Spirit of Order's redemption quest and accept his divine storm on our way out the door.

Day 60, Victory

Main points in this game were dragons, ganging up on Mimo, Violent Storm being extremely powerful.

Pretty good game but out-dragoning everyone and ganging up on Mimo felt a bit unfair (but welldeserved)

I attach only the Population graph, judging the others uninteresting.

The population chart doesn't really show how well I was doing in the beginning of the game. :)

I had Book just about eliminated from the Northern half the surface map and then BAM! Suddenly I had yellow and red units wandering into my lands. They were just exploring to start, but it forced me to not finish the job of smooshing Book.

It was a well timed three way peace accord that hit me at just the worst moment... It's hard to pivot from front one to front two when front one hasn't been finished and front two is the entire long X axis. Also didn't help that Southern rolled in with a stack of Dragons and supporting units.

Oh well, good game!

I felt good about stealing the Nomad Tower from Southern. That made my day. And I put a little fear in him and his Wizard with a direct assault as well. Too bad I lost so many units to Book in the basement before getting the nerve to assault Southern.

Yeah, diplomacy was key to me getting anything done except dying. As was being to use the mountains.

What did you lose to me in the basement that mattered? You flattened all my guys with Violent Stor...oooooh, right. I'd forgotten that you had to follow up on my stack of heroes and level 4's because the storms weren't enough to just end me that time around.

I'd call that your own fault, though, since I was retreating north. ;)
Woohoo, good job, southern.
Dwarves rule!
