Orcs, past couple days

Lost an abomination to a rogue. Continued looting everything we can find. There was an empty crypt in the north. Was it always empty or is there someone lurking around? Most unsettling
Bockwit, Day 14

We see another orc has come to offer terms of surrender.

TS
Elves Day 15

We wait for healing and infrastructure. And above all, population growth.
Orcs Day 15,

Our... armies... are... so... small... and... so... slow...

Oh hi frogs!
Bockwit, Day 16

Great. Another map with respawning Area Guards. Concealed respawning area guards, of course, because Screw You that's why.

TS
Dark elves

What a waste of my movement points!

TS
Bockwit, Day 17

A large battle looks to be brewing. Pity we probably won't be allowed to see it.

Also, where are you people finding all these artifacts? -.-

TS
Orcs Day 17

Well our long walk paid off with a relatively easy battle, a ton of gold, and a highly useful item. Thanks campers! My other army spotted a nice new target which hopefully will be mine tomorrow.

Oh hi diplomats!
Bockwit, Day 18

Negotiations begin in earnest.

TS
Orcs Day 19

Took a shiny new city with the help of my lovely entanglin', tauntin' orc hero. Sadly the peace negotiations broke down when the halflings demanded a tower clearly in our territory. Not only that, we caught a slinger snooping around another of our towers. Well now he's snooping around underground. 6 feet underground!
Bockwit, Day 19?

We managed to make some brand new Area Guards appear out of thin air. Naturally, these guards will have full movement while my triggering unit will not.

Orcs, Day 19

There are naughty little children running all through my woods!
Bockwit, Day 19

"You're a water wizard, and here's lots of water for you to play with! Ha ha, just kidding. It's all guarded by indies that will own your face. Loser."

TS
Day 20, Elves

We've all had quests from the Spirits for things on the other side of the map. This time, I've received a mission to kill infidels, apparently standing on the mountains on the north edge of the map. After opening up the map in the editor and flattening the terrain so I could see what was there, I conclude that they're actually standing on a single tile of snowy flatland hidden behind the mountains, right next to the map border. I'm not sure if the Heavy Storm there will kill them - doesn't that only deal damage when people move through it?
Also, I noticed this mapmaker must have been using an old version of the map editor, since he managed to turn a single tile of what ought've been unchangeable Border into a normal hex.

Oh, and two other things:
Whoever captures Wintergarden, in the middle of the map, first - gets some cannons for free, to defend it. But on the other hand, ranged troops and Walls are not very good in autocombat.
The lower map level has cities with Wizard's Towers, but I'm damned if I know how any of us will get down there.
