The goblin army is holding a strong position that prevents my army to fully display. Should I try to press on? For now, we hold, waiting for reinforcements....

The Mexican standoff at the cave pass continues. In the meanwhile a task-force is running after an elusive dark elf hero... But some progress happens as the goblins apparently didn't expect a landing behind their lines. Dragon-ships are cheap and fast to be produced but they hold so little troops!

(1h30 of turn lol)

Turn 28, Orcs

In the Flumen Arcana, our force belatedly stakes out a territory at the expense of the Dwarves. The Azracs have a strong position down here, too.

In the war with the Lizardmen in the lands beneath the sky, 22 of our troops die in battle, and 21 of theirs. Their advance continues. They have acquired a Syron somewhere.
Well I learned something new (or relearned).
Apparently towers can only be build above ground. That's 180 gold into the trash.

The war with the goblins has ups and downs. Many troops are sent in the meat-grinder. Who will finish them first?

But not in the cave mexican stand-off, that bunch is stuck for a long while...

As the reports of Orc Invaders from the east, dwarf troops from the west and azrac troops from the north run through the capital. The panicking goblin citizens offer their leader as a sacrifice for the dark gods. As is custom among goblins, the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few... or the needs of the leader.
Denied of a final confrontation with the goblins who razed our capital days ago by their leader's cowardice, we vent off our frustration with the now independent goblin tribes and slowly kill all the forces that formed the road block to our advance. Their wretched souls help Bakakku the demon to grow in the infernal ranks.

We keep moving against independents.
