We catch our first glimpse of a Frostling Giant in their northern exclave - the first time we saw one since conquering their home. We wonder where the other two, or three or four (?) are. We're also at 74.4% army upkeep spending. Ouch!

OOC: How sad that the spellchecker on this site/browser doesn't know the word 'exclave'.

Also, unaccompanied battering rams are creepy.

Orcs, Day 38

We've been stabbed in the back. Ack. Little people are over-running our undefended belly and we have only one option available. Crap.

In other news, Dark Elven income sources continue to fall to our forward scouts. Scouts may have short lives, but they when Orcish ladies, look rather dashing in their mud colored clothes.

Today, we march! but not to challenge either opponent's main force, really we shuffled around. Maybe I don't even want to, while the Highmen are preoccupied only with something as unstrenuous as kicking around defeated Goblins.

OOC: today I issued one move order to four stacks, by selecting all four at once. Yet another thing you'll never see in any of this game's abysmal sequels.

We continue to concede territory to the Orcs. It's all part of a master plan!

The Frostling exclave's garrison despair of further maneuvring, and takes the fight to us - losing 6 troops, plus a giant, and killing only a penguin and a lizardman. However, the road leading to the Frostling capital in the east lies strewn with the bodies of many scouts. We shall keep sending our scouts!

Orcs, Day 40

We take things in front of us and lose things behind us. Sounds like that is a common strategy today.

One thing we wish is that more of our new towns and villages could produce other than Level 1 units.
