Most frustrating -good- fighting game ever and when you think you got it you have to learn to not stab peoples in the back. Still hoping for a remake but replaying it to see if it is just nostalgia seem good.

Here's a game I played through one of the kids in my neighbor hood growing up. I mostly played the mode you have to defeat a lot of enemies in one go. I actually missed out on the campaign. I always had a thing for swords. This was a more realistic weapon based fighting game. Either you or your opponent may strike a fatal blow with blood flying to win. This is a gem among fighting games on the system. Keep in mind, this was unusual for Squaresoft now Square Enix at the time. Considering they mostly releasing RPGs with some of the best ever made. This was one of a select few on the system to differ from that. You get an interesting roster of characters. Some amazingly done stages that stands the test of time. It's mind blowing Bushido Blade series never left the system after all these years.

Killer and innovative game. Facing down 100 opponents in one go was just excellent. I even remember what they would cry when they died. "Hoooaaa-maka-seta!" PLEASE preserve this game. Vs. Mode was just stellar.
