First of all thank you for your help with giving us this solution, it works fine with my game installed from GOG client however when I'm trying to do the same for my Steam game it doesn't let me copy over the files in the game files of the Steam folder, as it says that folder is already in use.

I've read and if I understood correctly some other people here, managed to get this working for Steam as well. Any ideas how they did that?

Does it also happen when Steam is closed (not just minimized, actually closed)?
