Simply donwload the latest installer !

I'm glad to see it here, and that the fix was fast ! Installing it right now to try it ! :)
Now, I hope they'll thind a way to reduce lag, and that we will have all soundbanks and flags back (and add a "real" full gamepad support ?). But this is already a way better move Team17 !

I haven't tested the ‘patch’. I'm confused: am I expected to uninstall my current WWPR, download the new installer, and reinstall it? Is there no applicable patch to run?

All I did was to download the new installer and install it over my previous installation of the game, with no uninstall required.

For the record, as one of the few people who could play the previous version of the game, I'm happy to say that the new installer/patch didn't break anything for me, the game is still running great -- plus, I lost no created teams or play schemes.

When you're on GOG, at the top of the screen, there is a bar with buttons. Over the "Account" button with your mouse and click on "Library". Here you see your games. Now you click on the game that you want to download something. Now, you should see the files you can download : for WWPR, there is an installer (it has been updated by GOG, you only need to download it), and the manual. Click on the installer to launch the download.
There is a second way... Using GOG Downloader. After installing it, on the same last screen than in first method (the game page in your library), you can see a button "More" : click on it and click on "GOG Downloader Links". Here you have links to use with GOG Downloader : click on what you want to download, and it will launch GOG downloader automatically and the download (I personnaly highly recommand this way, with the GOG Downloader ;)).
And a third way : using Galaxy. But I don't know at all for this one :P

Splatsch explained excellently, however I'd advise against use of GOG Galaxy for anyone who is unaware of its current drawbacks. It is still test software, and while installations might work fine, there are other potential side effects.

Performances aren't better after this update. I hope they are working on that too...

I can confirm the latest build 2.1.0.2 resolves the water-crash for me. So far it works perfectly - I've never seen slow down or any performance-related issues. I can also confirm copying the missing soundbanks and flags into the appropriate folders works too - my beloved Rasta boys are back!

Performance problems still here.
I dissappointed deeply, they managed to broke original game, which worked fine and fast.

I cant even launch WWPR it tries to load then nothing happens in my task manager w2.exe starts then a process WerFault.exe starts and it doesn't load at all.

Can confirm that the game has FPS issues still. Are there any further updates downloaded latest COG version 9/08/2016

Same here - have windows 10 and the game has FPS issues while in game play. Tried some of the different video/audio settings from the in game options but nothing seems to make a difference.

It's not playable.

I have raised a case with Team 17 after GOG were out right rude to me, accused me (never been accused before) of not trying any of the suggested troubleshooting techniques... Couldn't believe that I had tried them all, I didn't mention to them that I am a systems engineer and debug software daily as not to appear arrogant yet still got the worst treatment that I have had from any software re-seller... Anyhow rant aside Team 17 were much more accommodating and admitted they are aware of the Frame Drops. They are working on a patch lets hope :)

p.s. for anyone interested if you want to port / migrate your teams from the original WWP to remastered... Copy \Worms World Party\User\Teams\WG.WWP \Worms World Party Remastered\save\WG.WPP
