The Witcher Adventure Game uses the Galaxy multiplayer library. Please read the points below before posting any feedback regarding the multiplayer game experience. Thank you!

1. Always start (or restart) the Launcher before playing the game. Let the update process finish (wait until status text changes to UP TO DATE), before clicking the PLAY button.

2. If you encounter any problem that you consider connected with the multiplayer, please go to <span class="bold">http://mantis.gog.com</span>, log in with your GOG.com account as usual and create an issue for us there please. Add a detailed description, and if possible, a method of reproducing it.

Hi, im getting the error saying im not authorized to play in the multiplayer, yet i have got the key for the closed beta and it's linked to my account. What should i do?
Use the link on the desktop or the "Launch The Witcher Adventure Game" link in the game folder, instead of running the TheWitcherAdventureGame.exe directly.

First off, the beta is great!

Two bugs I noticed, but wasn't able to routinely reproduce, (I'm not sure what causes them).

The first is that sometimes when I have completed my turn, it shows to me that it is my opponent's turn, while my opponent's screen says that it is still my turn. It remains this way indefinitely, and there appears to be no way to resolve this without quitting.

The second issue is that sometimes, when I complete a quest, the quest card shows that the quest is completed, but will not allow me to draw another quest card. I got around this by clicking on various parts of the card until a menu opened behind the completed quest card, and I was able to draw a new card. This seems to occur if you are located at the quest completion site, and do not have the proofs required to complete the quest/ After acquiring the proofs and turning in the quest, all without leaving the destination, the quest will not complete, and the quest card may become invisible.
Just got done with my first game and I must say it is pretty fun. Looking forward to seeing how this progresses.

One small bug, when I changed from full screen to windowed mode (alt-enter) the background in the menu disappeared and went all white. I could still see the buttons and stuff. It would only re-appear if I switched to a different window and then back to the game. I didn't try this during the actual game (I didn't want to break it while playing!).
Tip: If anyone has problems getting multiplayer to connect to the matchmaking service, make sure you configure your firewall to allow outbound access to UDP port 514, 5001, 5002, 6001.

Also allow outbound UDP to the following IP addresses:
212.91.20.102
212.91.20.100
212.91.20.112
212.91.20.114
46.105.121.139

I will update this list as I notice things hitting my firewall logs that need to be let through.

Problem:
I'm in the multiplayer lobby (presumably) successfully now but don't see anyone there. Not sure if it's due to something wrong or just nobody's there because everyone's in a game already due to the limited number of players likely available. :) Seems to be working other than nobody being there though. :)

Update: I'm in the multiplayer lobby successfully now with the latest game update, still haven't gotten a game started yet but we're slowly getting there. :)

Minor bug report: When the game goes to connect to the multiplayer lobby it pops up the word "Authetication", which is missing the "n" in the middle of the word - "Authentication".

Update: Confirmed FIXED in version TR028 2014-07-04

That's where I'm at: "Waiting for other players to join".
Ok, I'm seeing the following in my router firewall logs:

Jul 4 10:53:57 router INPUT:DROP udp IN=eth1 OUT= MAC=00:50:ba:11:6e:b4:70:ca:9b:a8:1b:d9:08:00 SRC=212.91.20.115 DST=xx.xx.xx.xx LEN=29 TOS=00 PREC=0x00 TTL=56 ID=0 DF PROTO=UDP SPT=53752 DPT=57073 LEN=9
Jul 4 10:53:58 router INPUT:DROP udp IN=eth1 OUT= MAC=00:50:ba:11:6e:b4:70:ca:9b:a8:1b:d9:08:00 SRC=212.91.20.113 DST=xx.xx.xx.xx LEN=55 TOS=00 PREC=0x00 TTL=56 ID=0 DF PROTO=UDP SPT=53357 DPT=61467 LEN=35
Jul 4 11:06:59 router INPUT:DROP udp IN=eth1 OUT= MAC=00:50:ba:11:6e:b4:70:ca:9b:a8:1b:d9:08:00 SRC=212.91.20.115 DST=xx.xx.xx.xx LEN=29 TOS=00 PREC=0x00 TTL=56 ID=0 DF PROTO=UDP SPT=53752 DPT=55249 LEN=9

The inbound IP addresses are:
115.20.91.212.in-addr.arpa domain name pointer host-2129120-115.gog.com.
113.20.91.212.in-addr.arpa domain name pointer host-2129120-113.gog.com.

Are these inbound connection attempts from GOG.com to something related to the game or Galaxy client which need to be port forwarded to the host my game is running on in order for the game to work?

A wider query is - could GOG post the exact inbound and outbound TCP and/or UDP ports needed by both the game and each of the Galaxy executables, whether any ports need to be forwarded for any of this stuff to work, etc. and maybe throw that up in an FAQ somewhere?

I'm unable to get the matchmaking to work so can't get a game running at the moment.

Yup. Also stuck at Matchmaking
I'm also stuck at matchmaking. We've tried a private game, but even if you enter a name of a game that already exists it just creates a new one instead of joining.

Exactly the same here. :(
Looks like there is a new update coming down the pipe...
I've now gotten into the lobby successfully and it says:

"Players in lobby: 3"
"skeletonbow, StaGiors, "

Only two names show exactly as above, however in the actual lobby are myself, yooyperdi, and Tocsin. Not sure if they can see what I typed as I haven't gotten a response. I clicked to vote to start the game, no game started yet though.
Game crashed, I zipped up the crash log directory but not sure where to email it to. Poked around in the forums and only found the email address for the GOG launcher crash submissions. Looking around CDPR's game forums and didn't spot the submission address either. Might be a good idea to update the game's crash dialogue with the info of where to submit the crash logs or make the info more visible/prominent somehow. Will send the crash logs when I find out where to email them.

Firing 'er up again now.
