Secret Missions? Special Ops? Righteous Fire? All of these are right out?

I'm waiting for expansions too... but it looks that GOG made "strange" deal with EA and there will be no available expansions for us... :-/

What happened was GOG needs EA to give them the Expansion content or permission to use them I don't recall exactly which but EA said they did and GOG said they didn't.

Why EA would with hold expansion content is beyond me, it's not like there really ever going to re-release Wing Commander 1+2, Privateer, Dungeon Keeper 1, Syndicate, and the others with the expansion content included on Origin, sell the expansion content separate release a separate complete version here, or something.

Surprised that Ultima 7 and 7 part 2 had Forge of Virtue and Silver Seed but that may be due to Bioware being put in charge of the Ultima franchise(pure speculation on that reason though)

never finished the SM's for WC1 though.. so not much i can miss there, besides that i never got to enjoy them..

You could as I added secret missions 1 and 2 to my copy of Wing commander 1 but it was a bit of a pain getting them installed, well secret missions 2 was the pain to install but it can be done.

DOSBox frontends like D-Fend Reloaded have a feature called "Install from source media". It's usually in whichever menu tab governs adding new application profiles. Just pop your MSDOS-native program CD into your CD drive, choose "Install from source media", select your CD drive, and the appropriate installation executable.

If your disks don't work it's easy to find a backup on the internet. If you're not good at editting DOSBox conf files and making shortcuts, there are howto guides for setting them up on these forums. Thanks to them, I was able to get Righteous Fire and the WC2 expansions running with their own shortcuts on my start menu.

Ah great,, SM1 for Wing Commander 1 are working now.

But I got a problem: In Mission 5/6 I have to escort a Dralthi. That´s hard, but I made it twice so far. Back to Tiger´s Claw that stupid thing is always running directly into the Claw and getting destroyed. WTF is this? How can I avoid that?

Ok, SM1 & 2 are running now. Very nice missions, hard but fun.

Now I got a problem playing the WC2 Addons, Speciell Operations 1 & 2.

SO1:
When I launch first mission, the game freezes after I use autopilot the first time.
So2:
I could play the first mission until I contact the concordia. Game freezes as well.

What can I do?

No, I only got huge disks and I dont have hardware to read this. I found the data in the internet. Small files <1mb;)

But like I said, it´s not really working for WC2 Expansions, maybe the downloaded files are corrupted :/

I'm very irritated that they haven't made the expansions available on GOG yet, because I refuse to buy the pack if I'm getting an incomplete story. I hope to god we get an update on this matter.

I agree. I bought Wing Commander Privateer when it became available but won't buy the others (unless there's a good sale) until the expansions are added. PLEASE GOG make a deal with EA for the expansions! I HATE it when I get an incomplete game :(.
