So i did everything to fix the stuttering and stuff, but now i got a problem with the animation. The animations wont execute. I select an unit tell him to go to X and then he jerks like as if he goes into the start pose of an animation and then just stands there frozen

I have this exact same issue as well. Messed around with some of the various other fixes posted here but nothing affects it. Game is completely unplayable.

I had this issue last night after installing on WIN10. It's gone after rebooting for an update. Hope that helps!

same issue here, finally got game to not crash to windows but it wont actually do anything

kifling: same issue here, finally got game to not crash to windows but it wont actually do anything
Same here. Finally loaded the first mission but can't move anyone. I get the move indicators once for each warrior but then the game freezes and I have to literally sign out of the account to gain control of my desktop again.

Can you say which part specifically worked for you? There is more than one solution in that thread.

Actually, I play it on WIN XP USING an older install file. I think GOG needs to do another update for WIN 10 for this game.

Same problem here, after re-install game, no change, animation won't move. 1 month before it worked as normal.
Any idea? (windows 10)

I got it to work by downloading the latest Nvidia drivers first and then in the Nvidia control panel, in manage 3d settings, preferred graphics processor select high-performance Nvidia processor.

I'm experiencing this also - tried rolling back to earlier versions, renaming the exe file, etc.
My Nvidia control panel in 3d settings doesn't have a "preferred graphics processor" option though...

E: tried all the usual fixes from the youtube video, just in case.
Also tried all fixes listed here:

no dice.
tried messing with Graphics setting in my MS OS Graphics Settings menu instead as suggested in some Nvidia website posts after some googling, but this also did not work.
