Why is the soundtrack gone? From 2? Warcraft 1 has it, Warcraft 2 which is better, doesn't?

I was sincerely hoping for Warcraft 2 OST in extras... That absence makes this great release a little bit less complete and perfect for me.

The Warcraft 2 soundtrack is sold on iTunes, so Blizzard probably did not want GOG to include that as a free goodie.

I have found OSTs for W3, WoW and Warcraft Movie. But I cannot find the OST for W2... May be its not available in my country.

Can you post here the link for OST for W2 in iTunes, maybe I just missed it somehow?..

You can use Zezula's MPQ editor to extract the WAV files for the War2 soundtrack from "Install.mpq"

You're absolutely right, I was thinking about the Starcraft OST, which is indeed on iTunes. I'm stumped then, I have no idea why they wouldn't include it as an extra.

The full Warcraft II soundtrack is missing from this GoG release of Warcraft II, just as it was missing in the original Battle.net release of Warcraft II - because Blizzard is cheap and wanted to save the cost of a CD when they released the Battle.net version.

So, the only place to get the Warcraft II soundtrack is from the original CDs of pre-Battle.net Warcraft II and Beyond the Dark Portal.

GoG and Blizzard need to get on this and fix up the GoG release of Warcraft II. Having only half of the soundtrack in it is ridiculous and dishonours the legacy of this great game.

I see Warcraft II is finally on GoG. First thing I do is check for the soundtrack....it's not there :(
Really hoping they will still add it later because it's actually the main reason to buy this game for me.

Agreed. I was disappointed to find out the Warcraft II soundtrack was missing from GOG's version that I purchased. :(

It is even more puzzling because wayyyy back when, Glenn Stafford personally released the official War2 MIDI files.

I'm going to try submitting this via the Feedback / Suggestions and recommend you all do the same. The music in this title is simply too great to ignore.
