Firstly thank you for bringing these games to your store.

In order for this release to be truly epic you NEED to add the soundtracks.

There was only a single release of the Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness and Warcraft II: Beyond the Dark Portal soundtracks. It was contained in a (now extremely rare) Deluxe edition back in 1996.

Making things more complicated, this was a game CD which played audio when you inserted it into a CD player. Meaning, there was +never+ a discrete soundtrack release on its own exclusive disc.

Given the fame of this release, it seems imperative that you request these files from Blizzard / Activision. You will win the praise of fans around the world.

Additionally, I would like to please request that the Warcraft II MIDI files, which were released by Blizzard employee and musician Glenn Stafford, be included in this release:

delicieuxz: The full Warcraft II soundtrack is missing from this GoG release of Warcraft II, just as it was missing in the original Battle.net release of Warcraft II - because Blizzard is cheap and wanted to save the cost of a CD when they released the Battle.net version.

So, the only place to get the Warcraft II soundtrack is from the original CDs of pre-Battle.net Warcraft II and Beyond the Dark Portal.

I have my original CDs still, and I've extracted the soundtrack. I've put a link to download the Warcraft II soundtrack in this post:

GoG and Blizzard need to get on this and fix up the GoG release of Warcraft II. Having only half of the soundtrack in it is ridiculous and dishonours the legacy of this great game.
