I just got this game and am thrilled with the design and graphics. I'm running it at 2500 res on a 32" screen and feel like I am there. Very cool. Yes, I am miffed at not being able to Save, but everyone has covered that already.
I'm finding the game a bit hard to understand. Since I downloaded it, it did not come with any sort of background on how to play it except assigned navigation keys. So, what I was supposed to do when a bunch of words started appearing on the screen? ( I finally realized they were a way to locate something). In a way, this is very real-world, and you have to figure out what is going on, but when it comes to actually making some progress in the game itself, even a teensy Manual would have helped.
I thought I solved the Traps even though I did not know what the hell I was supposed to be doing, ("What is the 'Sense' thing and why did it get bigger?") and yet I apparently didn't solve it based on what other people have said about a "scene" afterwards. All I saw is a field full of skulls and then that went away. Same with the murder scene at the train tracks. I put the scenes in order and nothing happened. I almost didn't see the tiny wording that said to sense it, and then I got the movie.
Is the whole point of this game to make everything as obscure as possible in a world so surreal that we have no idea what is going on? Just wondering. I'm into it, just puzzled about its design.
