1) What portal you mean in King's Way?
2) Civilian Humanity losses from Combat zones, you mean?

This is a technical thing. Bloodlines turned visibility of some far away map areas off using black portals, because at the time the Source engine was taxing for some computers. With modern systems this makes no sense anymore, so I have disabled these portals in several maps over the years. Like in King's Way, you can now always look through the open sliding door.

2) Civilian Humanity losses from Combat zones, you mean?
Exactly, civilian Humanity losses will still work as usual in Masquerade areas.

Why, that's great news! At last i can slaughter those Giovanni again, right after doing the sidequest, like the good old times! Not having to worry about no humanity and all!
About that Skieline bug... Does that mean that there won't be flying tosters and fridges stuck in doors? Because that is exactly what I had in 9.7. I can't recall such mess even from pirated vanila version of the game 10 years ago.

I hope so, although I heard that 3 hour game sessions in one go can still mess the Skyeline map up. Also this already was the most infamous Bloodlines bug even before the Unofficial Patch was around...

Ok, I hope so as well. By the way, I had a question about disciplines. When I uploaded 9.7+ patch, it gave me an option to save initial disciplines, which I took since those changes simply kill off such disciplines like Dominate or Dementation. But with this option is Potence still not working or it is actually fixed and does not depend on it?

Well, the problem with Potence was simple enough. It didn't stack up with the actual strength that char already had. That means that if player has five dots in strength and five dots in Potence, one would expect to have 10 strength plus what you have in melee or brawl. But since it didn't work, Potence didn't add up anything above strength limit of 5, even though the description told otherwise. So I was wondering if this was fixed and do I need to instal changes to other disciplines as well.

This works fine using the Unofficial Patch plus, but I just noticed that I didn't fix that for basic as I never play it: Done :)!

P.S.: I looked a bit more into Potence now and there are some weird things going on! Originally Troika replaced something called automatic_strength_successes with strength upgrades and I restored the former for plus just assuming it would work. Now while testing the basic fix I got the impression this does near to nothing with only 2 extra damage points now and then during a test against Ming while it certainly messes up the charater sheet layout. So I disabled that again and still got a message on first level Potence as if it somehow is build into the Discipline itself? It would probably need a full Potence playthrough to judge if these changes are significant, at least it's stacking now whlle being closer to the original game too...

Huh, this is interesting indeed. Well, I hope that you'll find a way to fix it. That would be one of the biggest improvements since the very release of the game.
Oh, and on a sidenote, Skieline strikes again. When I walked in and tried to use vent system, it was all in vain, because ladder wouldn't work.

All is working great now! Thanks a lot! By the way, I've found another small bug. When I met Heather near Ventrue Tower and she asked me to stay with her and also gave a silver ring. The ring is in inventory, but it never really shows in the dialog "Item gained: silver ring". As I've found out, it doesn't show up if you already have at least one. It's small bug, but can be a bit misleading.
