Huh. Guess I really did miss something...

I'm not big on IX, but I certainly don't have a problem with it being here. Different strokes and all that, plus it does feel strange to not have the entire series represented on GOG, even if the last game did go horribly awry. I might even buy it, at least if it's at the $5.99 price point. It'd be worth it to play a version that actually works, and I never did get to play it properly with the dialogue patch; it kept crashing once I got off Earth.
If people wana play it there free too I mean most of the games on GOG are only $6-$8 US so if they want to play Ultima 9 there free too but really if they want a in deep prescriptive of how BAD Ultima 9 is just go watch Spoonys videos on his site.

And GOG will have a time working on the game seeing they need to fix the crashing problems in the game, and maybe some of the floating problems. My friend has the game and once I watched him play it, got stuck coming out of water and then rocket into the air before landing mints later and being perfectly fine.
Spoony really nails it with his monologue at the end about what Ultima had meant to him and then it all got thrown away.
Hopefully Ultima 9 gets released in two more days. Yay!
