I bought Ultima 7 to relive the glory days. After five minutes I was thinking "Oh my goodness! Where do I go?!" I guess I've gotten so used to in-game maps from modern RPGs that I felt compelled to make this custom map.

@Michagogi - ty! :) I used to be good at RPGs without using a map... but not anymore.

@ZapMcRaygun - ty much. Unless I missed anything all of Trinsic is done. I'm currently moving around the map, picking a city, and filling it up. Right now I'm on Paws.

Does anyone know the name of the island in the screenshot? It's located between Isle of Deeds and Terfin.

Yes, Toshi, that is the Fellowship Retreat. Generally, I would not recommend a player go there until pretty late in the game, but it would still be good to have it named on the map.

I must say, this is the best UVII map I've seen. In fact, this is so detailed it can even be used by a GM if anyone wants to adapt Ultima VII to a tabletop RPG. A friend once created an Ultima I table top RPG and it was a blast. He was using a modification of the D20 rules system. It would be an honor to have cred. Thanks.

Very nice. However, for me, the map comes up in Firefox, nada in IE. Any suggestions? Does IE need a plugin to work?

Ultima 7 is a BIG world. It was the Oblivion and Skyrim of its day. Actually in retrospect I'd say the world is as big as Tamriel where ALL of The Elder Scroll games take place.
