RayvenUK: Thanks for the info, the virus checker must have detected the fact that the setup.exe alters the game file to change the controls then and regarded it as a threat. I didn't think that GoG would allow an infected file to get out there, but a second set of eyes never harms.
As for using another anti-virus, Vipre has saved my neck a couple of times,. and I'd rather get a false positive than something get past.
OK I am not knocking your views or anything so please don't take this the wrong way but did you ever ask yourself why a company would sell a virus-laden file? I only ask because this is not the first time someone asked about a virus being in a game file.
Never used Vipre so I can't make a comment as to its effectiveness.
