I wonder if this delay has anything to do with the separate installer for users who don't use Galaxy??
I was going to purchase the new Outcast game on GOG, but after this, I'm buying it on Steam instead.
At least there I can be sure I'll never miss a patch/update (or having to wait for God knows how long).
Yeah, the uncertainty is the worst thing of this situation, not knowing when, if at all, the update will arrive, it's been over a day already.

I don't think it has anything to do with GOG galaxy, installers or trophies, since they already worked in the previous version and, aparently, even the steam version can be run with no steam running in the background at all, there are people copy pasting the files to another folder in order to test mods and it seems to run without issues.

So yeah, no idea why this is taking so abnormally long.
I'm kind of afraid that this might be another situation resulting from mismanagement like the epic games infamous version which got uploaded to that platform by mistake. If this is some sort of mistake and it takes as long to fix as that did, boy oh boy are we in for some waiting....

I'm pretty sure it's not a GOG issue by nature. After the Epic failure, I woulnd't be surprise if Aspyr didn't think to transfert the patch to GOG . The publisher communication around this specific Game is really bad....
At the release they didn't even acknoledged the Launching Hour on GOG...

It will come but I won't blame GOG on it and i will continue to support no DRM games . Publishers just need to stop considering GOG public as second class customers...

I understand the frustration....

Yeah personally the frustration comes primarily from the lack of communication from the devs or publishers.
I just hope we will get the update very soon and that it won't happen again.
There was a new update today according to GOGDB, but still nothing new in the download section...

If that info is correct it was uploaded at almost 8pm today so I don't think we'll see it till tomorrow sometime.

WolfEisberg: seen it where GOG would take about 2-6 hours for a release of a new patch, but 24 or more hours is unusual in my experience.

I wonder what is going on?
But it is normal for GOG, usual. Delays is actually kinda feature.
Especially for GOG version (not GOG-Galaxy).

Oh i forgot about that.So it was me get confused.

SteamDB have "Updated" string to show when in general some changes to App/Depot/Sub/etc was made. Not the actual game build update.
GOGDB use looking same string for abs. differ function. GOGDB did not scan APIs 24/7 instead it do it once per some hours delays.
And we all can force it to scan again if we continue to open game page there. Reduce DB update from few more hours to just 2 hrs. If we keep going there it will show us "UPDATED" each next 2 hours. 12 march, 13 march, 14 march and even each next 2 hour.

Current GOGDB lost few things and didnt bring few from temporar fork GOG-DB .info. Updates-changelog tab reduced. But there is new function - it will show up new Galaxy public build as "Build added".
Non-public builds can be seen on one of API links listed there on GOGDB.

What i want to say. There is not so many things to post in Changelog and GOGDB reduce even them to just most important. In that case "DB entry update" date string is no use for same function as SteamDB. It is normal it didnt show us real updates date.
But still maybe better if GOGDB admin remove/change it appearing to reduce confusion. SteamDB can confuse visitors but at least show some kinda half-hidden Steam Content Description Record real updates happened. GOGDB show nothing.
Its just "page last viewed" date and time.It show when it was updated for/when previous viewer force it to scan APIs.

MisterSurrealist: No updates yet. I've been eagerly awaiting this patch for a month and will have to postpone my playthrough because of GOG.

Yeah, my next purchases will most definitely be on Steam.
Yeah Im leaning towards Steam for Star Wars Battlefront remastered later today. I generally mix it up though anyway.
Nope, lesser citizens, Probably gonna refund and get steam version.
has anyone tried verifying the game in galaxy?

I just did and got a 14mb download.

I haven't played the game since launch, but I think the modern controls are working a bit better now.

However, it could just be a placebo on my part, and I've just got a missing file.

Can't be, the update covers most levels nd there's no way all of the things that have been fixed fit within merely 14mb

Try and see if the action icon has been replaced from an exclamation mark to a hand, but I don't think it has been updated, my GOG galaxy says there's no update available.

I just checked and it's not the update.

If you verify again it will download 14MB again. It seems to be mostly files related to GOG, the tomb123.exe etc files are not updated.
