Claire98909: I would pay any amount of money in order to play these Tomb Raider games on my Mac! These are the games of my childhood! Please make them Mac-compatible!
This is a very late answer, but imo the simplest solution by far is to get Windows 8 or 10 and use Mac OS's (OS X) Bootcamp software to install Windows--and away you go! (Win10 if Apple is now supporting Win10 with Bootcamp.) Bootcamp is provided free by Apple with every Mac because for several years now Macs have been 100% IBM-PC compatible x86 PC clones under the skin--and as such Windows will run natively on your Mac, today--just like on a Dell or other PC brand. (Apple supplies the Windows hardware drivers with Bootcamp.)
It's great news for Mac owners who enjoy PC gaming because it means no more waiting on Mac/OS X versions of games you want--to see if they are ever released for OS X--most are not--and it's especially great for running older PC games like these. It's much a better solution than running emulators on top of OS X, etc. Gaming requires horsepower and Macs generally are fairly slow in that department, anyway, so you don't need the extra overhead emulators require to suck up the horsepower your game might well ask for and demand!
Bootcamp support was one of the best things Apple has ever done for Mac purchasers, imo. Good luck. (It's not as good as running a Win10x64 machine, of course, but it's great for Mac purchasers now that Apple has moved to x86 clones like the rest of the market.) Good luck!
