I just starting playing this game and I'm rather confused. When I'm playing the world tour mode and I try to go to the Load/Save section, the screen is blank (it says "vehicle setup at the top") and I cannot seem to get back out. What gives?
Edit: Running Vista 32-bit BTW

I have the exact same issue. I am also running Vista 32-bit.

Same thing happens to me, on both Vista Home Premium 64 and Windows 7 64. Other than that, this game is amazing.
Ok, so at least it's not just me. I've tried running as administrator and I've tried editing the security settings for the TOCA folder, but neither seem to make a difference. It's rather irritating because it seems the only way out of that screen is to kill the program in the task manager.
I have this problem. I'm using XP, Service Pack 3, so I guess the problem doesn't lie with Windows. Maybe it's a bug with the game.
Okay pals, I join the club.
After entering the "save/load menu", I can only quit TOCA by task manager.
(Windows XP Pro SP3)
Same thing here. Really sucks to lose your progress in a series by accidentally clicking this option. XP32 SP3
edit: Scratch that, the progress is saved but the game needs a force-quit before I can do anything else.

I have the exact same issue, and i run windows XP. I've also had problems starting a world tour mode - it crashes instantly.
Right, I'll join. Can't save my setups as well, it freezes. Running Vista 32-bit.
I've got the same issue on Vista 64bit. I think the game still saves because I can continue from where I left it on my carear. I just save it anyway and let it crash when I've finished with the game and close the game via Task Manager. It's either saving due to the autosave feature or it's saving when the game crashes. Either way it still lets me continue when I come back to the game so it's still playable. Can't complain really after trying to play Kotor on this damn OS.
I have exactly the same problem with Vista 64 bit version. The game still seems to save itself because after exiting the game (using task manager) the game suggest the point where I can continue the game.
add me to the list.
based on what ive found googling around, this is a known problem... as in, it happens to everyone. the between-races-in-an-event load/save is broke, and im assuming that if it hasnt been fixed by now, it never will be...

So is this not specific to the GOG version?

appears not to be...
i might be wrong but i believe that the Save/Load button you guys are talking about is for Saving/Loading car tuning setups. When i clicked it i was also stuck in the window because i believe you must have a set up to click to get out of it.
If i quit at any time once ive finished a race my progress is saved, ive never clicked a Save button anywhere. There must be a autosave option in the main menu that you can enable
