I suspect since they are a few days late anyway, they at least include the hotfix and the patch in the release.
So less buggy then on steam.
One thing that I find annoying is that I got an old physical copy of the game (gold edition (titan quest + immortal throne)); and in order to play the new expansions had to buy a digital version of the anniversary edition.
Well, why would you expect otherwise? The digital version made a lot of changes to the disc one so the expansions wouldn't be compatible anyway.
What about achievements ? When on gog pls ?
According to THQ Nordic, sometime today...

As for the expectation from MEDEAFLEECESTEALER, just wish i could have redeemed my physcial copy for a digital one in some way; though it seems that im rebuying most of my physical games to an extent at this point.
Also, as of the time of this writing, how is this stil not out on GOG?!

Please update with a realistic release date for GOG version.

This is getting ridiculous.
Can we get an official statement from GOG on this delay, please?
I suppose the developers are waiting untill their succeeded in fixing all the bugs and bad performance that the update has brought about. I think this will be better for us in the end. Although the hype is killing me! T.T

Sometimes it takes quite a time to fix all the issues, just look at other games. Problems are mostly with DirectX 11. Youtube streamers already made lots of Atlantis videos and it looks quite playable...

So I hope we will see release in a hour or so....
But how will affect the use of DirectX 11 in the game? I heard they included with it new visual effects in order to make the game looking nicer, but with that DX11 option i don't know if the performance and stability of the game would improve too.
Somebody could explain me something more about that? what would be the difference between DX9 and DX11 in terms of performance?

DX9 is usually better in terms of performance.
DX11 might make game look better, but it all comes at the cost of performance.
Option to run Atlantis in DX9 mode is still there.
Sent a question through both the publisher and developer sites for a request on a more stable release date, and so far nothing.

Even with update 2.4 on steam the problems are not fully corrected. Better to wait until all is ok.
Any news?
In a word: NO.

Blame the devs/publisher, make that both, for this colossal screw up.

Instead of giving notice to gog and steam, they decide to spring it out of nowhere and suprise fans; leaving everything up
in the air with people working round the clock to get a stable release out (currently steam) with no word on the GOG release. All the while remaining mum/silent about it due to fan irritation due to their stance.

And as time goes on, the release of this expansion seems more and more unlikely due to the delays/no actual news that are caused by the stupidity of whoever pushed the release button on the expansion that had a twitchy push finger. And fans ultimately give the game bad reviews due to this.

Its already been a week since it was announced, and released on steam with no word on the current progress for GOG other than pushbacks to its release. GOG could at least put up a store page for the expansion, and the dev/pub could take responsibility for this by being transparent about what happened and releasing the content on GOG; and or helping getting it released with the QA stuff.

This is what gets me worked up and angry at them, im willing to wait for content and pay for it; but whats happening now with this feels like a betrayal to me; and ultimately makes me lose faith in the industry.
