I just started a new playthrough of TQ after all the changes the game has had recently (Anniversaru Edition, Ragnarok).

Last time I played it (I think it was about 10 years ago:) ), I remember the map in Mynoan Labyrinth location was clearly visible, with all the walls clearly drawn, this map was easy to navigate (note - I'm taliking about the map and mini-map, not of the location itself one can see on the main screen).
But now both map and mini-map are vague, with only internal walls visible as black polygons, but the external walls are completely hidden within a kind of black cloud that makes map navigation extremely awkward and the labyrinth design indistinguishable.

Is it intentional (to add some "naturalistic" real-life labyrinth feel) or is it a bug? If former, I must say it does quite the opposite, making this location a pain in the *ss, devoid of any fun.

It is definitely a feature, how could be possible be a bug? If the maps are automatically generated it would not be possible, if they are manually generated it would be really obvious.

However, do not worry. It is still Titan Quest; there is only one way out: just use the (left)right-hand rule and never go back through light torches.

I guess for each one it own. I found the idea really clever. Funny and frustrating, as expected by a maze.

A supposed improvement that isn't. Totally unnecessary and doesn't add anything to the game for me. Luckily I play so much that I know the layout - plus I have a map of the original from the old TQ strategy guide by Brady Games.
The map of the Labyrinth can be found on GameBanshee http://www.gamebanshee.com/titanquest/walkthrough/minoanlabyrinth.php
Oh man, this frustrated me so many times. Bookmarked the map
