That's besides the point - your idea of cloud saving is hugely misplaced. It just doesn't work that way in most cases. All universal systems I've ever seen keep a copy of the files both on your drive and in cloud, with the cloud functionality being copletely optional and not breaking in any way when you're not connected to the internet. It's a fairly important extension of the point you made earlier on "No game needs cloud saving" - when we're talking about optional features, every game needs it, because it gives more power to the consumer in how he wants his product to be treated. You can continue doing things your way and other people can continue doing things their way. Everybody wins.
