Now I noticed that there qre quests and some of the mastercrafted witcher gear that our well over 30th level. What good are they? I mean everyone for which I've chatted with said they ending the game around 25 to 30th level so that meas that allot of the higher end witcher equipment and the harppy sword<37th lvl> is a waste to even worry about arent the? After all we can't use it.. They should IMHO dropp each level back about 10 levels.

Also is there just ehe 2 Crossbow diagrams Feline and Ursine? There isn't one for Griffen or wolf school?

I ended the game with level 36.

I finished at level 35.

@ Santiago and DodDoomkll I am currently 24 wih about 7 quest left in the game One is Ugly baby the others are Treasure hunts for witcher gear. Now unless there are allot of quests for which do do over in K.M. I don't see even getting to 30.

I was already higher level when starting ugly baby.
But with the main plot quest from there on, ugly baby, isle of mist, the battle a KM, etc you should be able to get minumum 5 levels.
And the game doesn't end there.

Right now I've currently just barely made 25 and have about a 1/2 dozen quest for which are 30 plus.So I'm going to go through and take out allot more of these "?" and see if the monsters there dont' help me build up my levels. Because even at level 35 that sure don't allow you to use that Master Crfafted witcher gear very long. And the one Item for which I've got thats level 37 I believe it's a sword will never be used.

You will need to grind a great deal to reach level 37

And you shouldn't have to grind like that there just to be able to use the top tier stuff. Like I said they should have dropped the levels down by about 10 maybe.

No, those swords with level 37 shouldn't be in the game. That's all.

I'm level 34, just about to do the final quest. I've done all the contracts, sidequests and POIs, but I've not created any mastercrafted Witcher equipment because I won't be able to use it for anything.

I think they should also make it so that we either get proper amounts of XP for completing quests that are too low for us, or else reduce the level requirements. I even noticed that completing some of the quests got me 1 XP point! I got more than that by killing a lowly wolf pack!!

Also, sad to be finishing the game after nearly 300 hours! :-(

Why? I'm level 38 (without any cheats or hacks)...it is do-able...just long and grind-y.
I say that the level 47 swords need not be there since I doubt anyone will be reaching that level just by playing the game as it was intended.

I doubt that you have much else to do now.
Introducing such items in one of the 2 expansion could be understandable, but now, they are pointless.

I'm level 36 ....trying to get to level 41 ....to use the NEW Skellige armor...need to be level 41....but having difficulty levelling up.....monsters don't give that much experience....

I'll give you that. That said, I finished the game at level 37 (I was being super slow and taking my time), so reaching level 38 was not too big a deal. Now I find that reaching level 39 would be too big of a grind. I guess I try constanly respawning Volcanic Griffins via the console...which is fun as hell.

I'm at level 35 and still have to finish the main questline, I've done all the contracts, a fair bit of the sidequests and I've crafted all the perfect witcher gear...
