OmegaX: They fired the third party company that was supposed to make the new forums and they have hired a new one to take its place. I haven't read that they fired the person from CDPR that was responsible for hiring them in the first place, you know the person whose poor judgment costed the company money and customer loyalty.
Even if they did fire that person, I doubt they would ever announce it in any official capacity. Seems like a private, internal thing, and that's assuming that the person who did the hiring is even considered culpable--haven't you ever hired someone with a good reputation who ends up getting in over their heads and making things worse? You can get blindsided by incompetence, even when hiring trustworthy companies.
I really doubt that someone chose a new company to make the new forums. More than likely they went with someone they've used before, only to be surprised by that company's inability to implement whatever new features they intended to add.
That's just an assumption, of course, but I have trouble believing that CDPR would use less discretion when it comes to something PR-related than I would use hiring a plumber.
