You don't buy many PC games these days, do you?

Agreeing to disagree seems like the only option, here. Maybe next time find a way to voice your dissatisfaction without caps lock, since it leaves a bad aftertaste in a lot of people's mouths.

I don't care if I leave a bad "aftertaste" in peoples mouths, especially if they lack the ability to use logic, and rationality in their posts. :).
I thought that 227 expressed much more eloquently how one could react to your multiple rants here than I could ever have done, which is why I chose to simply underline the comments you had received with a video.

Please take this in a tongue in cheek way, mind you, since I am still hoping that you will realize by yourself that yelling (OR CAPSING LIKE THIS!!!!) over the Interwebs like a mad teenager will probably not get us anywhere closer to fixing the issues that you, I and many others may have with the game.

CDPR are working on them, they've stated it several times. Is it so unreasonable to give some time to fix what remains... a computer game ?

Please have a nice evening (and I am not trolling on this one) ^.^

vorthex85: Comparing my completely rational posts to some stupid video on youtube? How appropriate for a troll to come into a troll thread, though.

Actually if none of us expressed our dissatisfaction with how the issue is being handled it probably would have been blown off completely or gone unnoticed.

And it is unreasonable, since they know whats wrong with the game and have a fix for it, yet are waiting to release the fix along with their other 10k bugs. So yes, unreasonable.
I'm having the same problem over here. What a way to fumble the ball.
I'm soo tired of waiting for this fix with Troll trouble... it is keeps redownloading itself until fail to connect server, or launcher simply freezes after verifying, or just showing that it is being downloaded... for 1 hour... I don't mind if it would be just a side quest, but this one is linked to Poker Face and Melitele's Heart at least. I don't like to miss any bit of this wonderful game, but this nasty Troll trouble spoils everything. I already started game twice, doing first act again and again, endriags and nekkers probably hate me for mass genocide (due to lack of other entertainments because most quests are done at least two times already). And this is just because I don't want to move to second act living this bit unresolved...Plz, save my mind, just put this f***ing DLC on the main site for free download without all this verifications

Just decompress this and you'll find that the troll dlc is in the cookedpc folder. Just take it and dump it into cookedpc folder in your Witcher 2 install directory.

Point of drm free games is to not have this issue. Taking cut content, labeling it as dlc, and releasing it on day 1 goading you into agreeing to drm sure is... trolling your customers.

Indeed. Day 1 DLC is really disappointing.
thank you vary much srncarl - it is working, a bit weird that on notice board now two contracts on trolls - one direct me to the official site and another is actual quest) If it is so simple what is all this fuss about? Why developers just didn't included this quest into the game? Or it's to show ppl how generous they are that they giving DLCs for free?

do you have to recompress the "DZIP"?

Thanks for sharing, now we can stop hammering the CDP dlc server.

I don't see what this has to do with drm. You had to have a GOG account and pay for the game to download it, is that drm?
Here it's the same, they require people to be registered and logged in with a valid copy of the game to download dlcs and patches. I don't think you want illegal downloaders of TW2 to hammer the servers to download those, costing CDP and/or GOG bandwith and degrading your experience as a customer.
The only thing I find questionable is their launcher; they should have a web page as backup where you can login and download dlcs/patches, and install manually if the launcher f***s up. But software always fails in unexpected ways, and now if they do a hasty patch to the launcher as some of you are asking they have high chances of breaking something else for some people. So just be patient.
Thanks to the guy who posted the mediafire link, I was having the same problem.

How did you fix this? Having the same problem too now after dropping the files in CookedPC.
