Steam is now up to 0.4.014 which is kind of an important update for late game as it restores the ability to craft quartz shards.

Also a tight alignment between steam and GoG versions is important for beta development.

I recognize that the game is brand new to GoG and the devs may be ironing out the release schedule, but can we get a rough commitment on how far behind the GoG version will be compared to the Steam version, or even better a commitment to simultaneous release?
I'm also curious about this.

I posted over on the devs Discord so let's see if we get an answer somehow, here or there.

I hope this gets resolved soon.
Devs haven't posted here. Usually the ones that are good about parity, which is rare, will be one of the firsts in their forum.
And another request for the patch. I want to start a new game, but prefer to do it with the latest up to date version
That is a valid enough concern to hold off purchasing because this game is under active development.

Yea, I kind of regret buying the game here after realizing this. I wouldn't recommend buying it here. At least for now.

The Steam version can be played without Steam running in the background. Just make a shortcut to the exe in the install folder and not use the shortcut Steam places on your desktop, if you allow Steam to do that.. Although that could change in the future.

I'm glad I only spent $18 on it. I probably got that out of it. But I doubt I will do it ever again until I see a good track record from the dev in keeping up.

That is good to know, I hate depending on steam launcher so that might be an option if patches will be slow to roll-out on GoG

Hello there,

I've just uploaded the v0.4.014 on GOG, it's now the same version as Steam.

We had an error with our deployement script and were away for a few days. Still, this is not a valid excuse.
I garantee that from now on, the GOG main version will be aligned on the Steam main version with a maximum of three days delay (time for fixing critical bugs)

Sorry for the delay, and thank you for supporting Planet Crafter!
Merci.
Good to know that the patch is there, although it seems I have to wait a little longer for the offline (non-galaxy) patch to be available.

And it is also good to know what your policy is for uploading patches to GoG. I can accept a small delay between the Steam and GoG versions when I know it won't be too long and have an indication when it will arrive. And for a small team this is understandable.

<Edit> And now the offline version is available as well

Merci beaucoup.
Good to know the releases are planned to be close together, thank you.

off topic: Thank you for the substantial demo, I absolutely would not have played and bought the game without it.

Nice. Thanks much. I'll be giving this a shot in a few hours when I get home.
