The part where she got kidnapped.
Did anyone recognize the setting, too?

When I first saw it took merely a second to hit me like a bomb.
I was so floored ;)
All I say is "Chuck".

Not only the location - also the characters there :) No Chuck, but Weird E. and Nurse E. were present :)
And, when you think about it, one of the puzzles... : )

Totally! Great homage!

Yes, I picked Chuck because if you know what I mean you know it's missing :D

I think last time we've seen him was in Tales of Monkey Island...

Now _that_ would explain it. Chuck's getting around it seems.
Time to pull that series out of my backlog.

You certainly should, it's really good! But first, play The Cat Lady to the end... and consider checking Downfall if you haven't yet :)

Ah, I played Downfall already 2010 the first time, got my copy from GamersGate.
And was clinging to Michalski heels, since then hoping he would do something new.
I finished Cat Lady shortly after it was available last December.

The reason why I am late here is, I somehow totally missed that it's on GOG now, too.
just realized it during their last sale :D

I find myself partially responsible for bringing The Cat Lady on GOG :) Or at least for giving it some recognition around here.
Also, that Downfall from Screen7 doesn't have the "surrender" bug, so you can enjoy all endings (including my personal favourite Surrender + Loyalty).

See me deeply impressed! You did a great job!
Yes, that one ending breaking bug in Downfall. I bought the 'new' Screen7 version also, because of it includes the soundtrack but did not come around to install it.
Very nice to to know that bug is squished.
Man what a day :)

It was great to see the game finally ariving to GOG. So great I decided to host a little and even Rem himself [url=http://www.gog.com/forum/general/creepy_giveaway_2_aka_the_cat_lady_on_gog_celebration_giveaway/post62]came for a moment.
"Porn music" track from the Downfall OST is great. Sometimes I catch myself listening to this and Two Stone Rings in a loop :)
Also, two worst bugs (surrender and double shotgun) are finally gone :)

So they have fixed that bug. Any news when they are going to patch the other versions of the game. I bought the Gamergate version (because I liked The Cat Lady and Downfall wasn't available here on GOG) and I'm certainly not going to buy the game again to get it patched. But I certainly would like to see bugs fixed.

Ask Mark (m0ds) if that's possible. The only problem I can see is that on GG it was self-published by Harvester Games and now Screen7 took the publishing duty...
And don't forget to vote for Downfall on GOG wishlist if you liked it! :)

Let's see how things work out first. If Harvester Games doesn't patch up the games which they have sold in other on-line stores (namely Gamersgate and Wadjeteye Games store), then there's no guarantee that they will patch the possible GOG version either. If that is the case then I can't recommend their games to anyone with good conscience. However if they keep supporting their products in a normal manner, then I can recommend their games.

As I saind, you need to contact Mark - either here on GOG, using Screen7 support form or mailing him (support [at] screen7 [dot] co [dot] uk. I'm sure he, as the publisher, can give help you better than me, being a simple fan of the game :)

I didn't mean that you'll have to answer, I simply meant that amount of customer support affects to my attitude towards the Harvester Games and their products i. e. if I want to see more of their games in GOG. Others have asked that question already, but so far there has been no answer from the developer (or at least I haven't seen one).

I might have sounded bit annoyed (I was), but personally I feel that if there's a major bug which prevents you from seeing and experiencing one of the endings, then it should be fixed in all versions. And like I said I only support having GOG version of Downfall, if I know for certain that it will get the bug fixes too.
