Minya: Btw; Do the same settings work for Pandora too?

Vagabond: I don't see why not. Should be fine.
Worked like a charm :D

Great! The next step is to apply a custom soundfont to make it sound really, really good! Here's a sample from UAKM with Shan's soundfont.
I have gone into the config file and added the recommended values. However, the changes in game have me completely lost. What sound blaster am I using in game? What values line up in game with the changes to the config file? This is not at all intuitive to a non programmer. I can no longer go back to my jerky sound setup now that I am half way into this process. Shit.
Frankly if gog hasn't solved this problem before their release, this is a shitty update. What a disappointment. I'm no dosbox savvy nerd. I don't know how to line up these numbers between a config file and in-game settings. This is ridiculous. I just want to play the game as it is meant to be played. Is that too much to ask?

some people never have to adjust settings, ever pc is different. The only thing I changed was the buffer to 240 nothing else.

On the config page setect 'Set Sound Device' and then auto-detect. It will pick up the new settings and you are good to go, I can confirm they work well on Win7 64bit.
