Toccatta: You can find a solution to that particular error here:
https://www.gog.com/forum/stellar_tactics/error_message_on_launch Thanks. After searching gog, I googled it and found that file. And thanks for the explanation for gogdownloader! Happy not to explain all that:)
Zandolf: Thank you. I have had my anti-virus program for 15 months, never a problem with GOG. I stopped it and the game did DL. I ran it, it says it can't run because "vcruntime140_1.dll is missing, please run reinstall again".
Then the game ran. I didn't try to play it. Can't right now. I appears to work though. Thanks again!
halldojo: I am happy to hear you got it sorted out regarding the download without getting the integrity error, it might be many things that cause this, something regarding the resources on the computer or more than one virus protection on the computer and even something in the download file, an unlucky combination that causes the scanner to stop etc etc.
I remember a few years back I had problems with the downloader, at was very random it seemed when it failed and when it did not, I think I uploaded to the latest version back then or changed the settings and that fixed it, I always use the downloader and I have never had problems with it since.
The other error should be fixed by following the link Toccatta posted.
Thanks again. It's really strange since I had DL another game a few days before without issue and have DL quite a few games over the license life of the anti-virus, Still haven't tried the game. Maybe tomorrow.
