The Engineer's Update ability (the last tier Rigging ability) is way too difficult to charge.

My team consists of a Void Psyker Manipulator, a Force Psyker Sentinel, a Smuggler Gunslinger and an Engineer Rigger. From level 10 when I got the ability to level 25, running mostly Hard and Extreme missions (on normal game difficulty), I was able to trigger Update a total of two times - both both battles against multiple summoners.

The rest just dies usually a full turn before I have spent enough Jigawatz to trigger it.

Now I could equip my Rigger with a faster weapon dealing way less damage, or I could skip the turns of my other characters until I can cast Update. But this runs counter to every single other class' ability (I played the game through twice with a huge variety of classes) which benefits from playing efficiently.

My recommendation is to keep the tracker for Update mission-based, and not combat-based, and set it to 10/12/14/16/18 and 20 Jigawatz generated.

As it stands right now, it is very much useless - not for the ability itself, but from the way it is charged. I expect it to trigger once at the last boss battle, at least.
After playing aroud with Upgrade for a bit, it seems even more broken than being impossible to charge normally, but the boss fight lasts long enough to trigger it a few times. However, it keeps applying the Upgrade I buff, and not Upgrade II or III.
Battles on normal are quite fast indeed. Actually they only become long around lv 80 and when you are on hardcore. Hopefully on 100 can get some better gear to make it smoother since 5-6 turns regular enemies is a bit too steep especially after a hacker nerf :P.

In the next patch, charges will persist between combats, Upgrade stacks will grant boosted damage / damage reduction, and Upgrade effects will stack correctly!
