GoG are working on it they just did not expect so many people to buy it. Watch the steam forums as so many people like to post there.

Maybe the master server was not ready enough for such a high load. I may not be wrong if I say, at least 300 players trying to connect at the same time during peek time.

Nope, still not working for me. I really hope they're still working on it, because how they promoted it and how long it's been, it doesn't seem likely.
