i also want to see you dx, Nvidia program & Global settings [see my images]

I assume this is a scaling issue but that should have been every game, not just this one

All the other games on my computer are working fine. World of Warcraft and Stellaris work fine.

Desktop resolution is included in the photos.

I did mess around with the DX to try and get it to run but no success

try this test;
1 open Nvidia software and disable Vsync for the game... not globle just the game [see images]

2 right click on a blank part of your desktop and select 'display settings'... don't use the Nvidia for this part we want Windows to take control now

3 tell Windows to set scale to 125% [look at my image]

4 you may as well tell Galaxy to install the RNDA patch for the game

5 restart Windos system... test the game

Unfortunately, still no luck.
I'm half-tempted to return the game.
It's still that same issue.

1st try setting both DX and desktop [with Window] down to 800 X 600... don't forget to put scale back to normal

if that doesn't work then I'm out of ideas and your Gpu just can't run this game

That one didn't work either. I just want to say thank you for all your help. I really appreciate the fact that you took time out of your day to try and help :)

Usually if its fullscreen and the issue is u cant see much of the game just some of it in top left corner, just go to dx and set display to be set by app then save then should work, if its a diff issue then dunno.

Also if the game is showing ok but just small and windowed and stuck at the top left, try just pressing alt and enter to switch it to fullscreen mode?


I noticed u said u used DGvoodoo in a post above, dont use that.

Also check nvidia drivers and go through the menu till u find gpu scaling, see if its on or off and is it set to full frame or something. https://imagegod.b-cdn.net/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/1629680732_211_What-is-GPU-Scaling-How-to-Turn-it-On-or.png (if its on display try gpu scaling or vice versa, u can always change it back if it doesnt work.)

Also your not using nvidias image scaler are you?

Without DGvoodoo this game wouldn't start at all.

I have the same issue with the game menu stuck to the upper left corner and getting stuck when trying to enter the graphics menu.

Anyone found a solution in the meantime?

Not sure what I did but I manage it to work for me. Test played it once.DId not win, guess I'm awed more that there is an actual RTS star trek game exist. I wish for the 3 game...

I clicked on the "Extra" button and clicked the file which said "Patch(1.1 hotfix to 1.1 RDNA fix)"

2 I went to where the game is installed then clicked the file: "dxcfg"
Changed the resolution to 1600 * 1200 59Hz
Changed instead of Fullscreen to windowed mode
I disabled the Enhancements

So It could only to say be the hot fix patch in the "Extra" Located left of the Play button on GoG"
But I did these to play this game
