Hi, when I launch the game I have some messages : one for the sound options, and one that ask me to insert the cdrom, can I have some help?

ive not had that issue myself

then again ive not been able to get to the sound settings to put eax on

have you tried uninstalling redownloading and installing?

What Antivirus you using?

Is your computer equipped with a physical CD/DVD drive? Also, are you using any drive emulation software like Daemon Tools?

I've the same problem here, I've a DVD drive but I don't use any emulation software.

I have a DVD/Blu Ray drive and I am constantly running Daemon Tools but my game launches fine.

I've try the admin mode and other win XP run mode, still no launch.

Dear Goreman and Strife

Did you notice during the installation of the game a small cmd window pop up?
If not, try executing it, it's located on the same folder where the game is installed.
The name of the file (it's actually a script) is SpeedBusters.cmd ... if you edit the file, inside should look like this: sdbinst -q SpeedBusters.sdb
IF and only IF that small script removes the copy protection then the only logical explanation to your problem is that your antivirus blocked the execution of the script, leaving you with a game with copy protection.

I wish you luck!

PS: I don't actually know what the script does, I had it open with Notepad++, and the only I could understand in that mess was SpeedBusters.exe and some other stuff.

Hi everyone,

i've just bought the game (i was waiting for it since the launch of GOG !!)
and i can't launch it neither.

Same problem : ini file problem, then insert CD :(

I have a DVD drive, and DAEMON tools installed, but i'm not using it at this time, no virtual drive is created.

Has someone find the solution ?

Thx in advance, i can't wait to play this game again !!
