FlynnArrowstarr: Hi, Leucius.
Sorry, it's been a hectic few weeks. I just built a couple of desktops for my wife and I so I've been re-installing things. I checked my laptop and it's running Catalyst 13.4 right now, so I have made a note to update the driver and install it tonight when I get home from work.

Okay, I got a chance to try this out. Apparently I hadn't updated my drivers for a while as I was on Catalyst 13.4 still. I installed Soulbringer and (after a bit of scratching my head as I'd forgotten to set compatibility mode to Windows 98/ME - game refuses to even get to the launcher if I don't) I ran the game. No issue there. Click the Play button and the game launches no problem - videos play, I get dropped off at the ferry dock and it's freezing outside.
I then updated to the current version (13.12) and ran the game again. No problems there as well. I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate SP1, x64, AMD C60 APU with on-chip Radeon HD 6290, all drivers and Windows up to date. I was hoping to replicate the problem in order to try and find a solution. How's that for odd? Wanting the game to crash, heh.
Sorry I couldn't be more help on this one.
Edit: Maybe that's the issue after all. I checked my desktop with the nVidia card and the only things checked are the Disable DPI Scaling and the Run As Administrator, both of which are set by the GOG 2.0 installer. On my laptop with the AMD APU I have to check Windows 98/ME Compatibility before it will even get to the launcher. No error, the process just stops.
