I am playing it on my 64bit win 7 sony laptop with a Radeon HD 6630M. It's working fine in full widescreen. I had some issues with transparent cars/pedestrians but turning on some "use application settings" in my Catalyst control center seemed to clear that right up.

Sakkraner: Do you happen to have a link for it around? Thank you.

fulano5321: I got it from Mod DB.
http://www.moddb.com/mods/network-addon-mod

I had troubles trying to install the mod to a custom folder though. I had to manually copy files over, but it's working for me with the GOG version of SC4.
We make it hard because some people mess with it, break the load order, then complain about the mod being broken when they've broken it themselves.

It wears thin after a while.
WinXP 32bit with Athlon II (3 cores) here, runs very badly (slide show) especcially when controlling a police car. :/
System is very clean, Gothic 3 and Race Driver Grid run extremely well.

Any tips? :/

Edit: Got the SimCity4 launcher and performance has gotten a bit better via multicore correction and window mode in software rendering but still not really good.

The GOG shortcuts already set the single core option, and they have a windowed shortcut too, so those two aspects should already be taken into account.

My recommendation is to use hardware mode and once you've launched the game go to the options and turn the shadows to the low option.

absolutely
Shadows really screw up the performance. The good thing is IMO they don't really add much to this type of game. It's not an FPS or a horror game where shadow is so intricate to plot and game play.
