:( I was playing this game and enjoying it, but my computer died and took my data with it.
I finished this game multiple times and just recently purchased it here, even though I have it on disc. I have to say that, although I have had the occasional death by door, it isn't nearly as cumbersome as you made it seem. And annoyances like this aside, this is a gem of a game and will always be one of my select few favorites.
Yeah it's definitely a very unique game that's for sure.

It's hard to pinpoint what I liked most about it, as there were so many creative elements in it. I liked the intro, the plot twist, the choices at the ending, and the fps and mecha parts all quite a bit.

When adding things up, Shogo ends up having a certain level of crazy fun depth to it despite many parts of it being inconsistent and annoying. I don't think there will ever be a game like it ever again.
