wpegg: Worked end to end for me. If the game crashes, GOG need crash reports, not complaints (they need those too mind). Is there anything in the Event Log when it crashes? Have people contacted support?
psadler: Why would we care if it works for you? Why are you here in the first place?
I'll answer your questions in order.
1) Because we are a community, and we all like to hear that other people are enjoying the service GOG provides. Furthermore, if a person is complaining that the application crashes, then it is important to identify the scope of such a problem, if there are lots of people complaining, and no-one seems to be able to run it, then it would be apparent to the user that GOG have a general issue to fix. If the person with the crashes is informed that it is not a general problem, then they will then know (as I went on to advise) that they need to contact support in order to get this addressed, as other users are not going to report it for them.
2) I am here because I like the service GOG provide, and I enjoy being part of the community. I was posting on this particular thread because someone was reporting a crash, and I was trying to advise them on the best course of action for resolving their problem.
I hope that's helped you with your questions. I'm very touched by your concern for my movements and my actions.
