deejrandom: Yup, plus they have 3 great pieces of DLC coming out in Jan, feb, and March. The march piece will have (somehow) a continuation after the end of the game and raise or unlock the level cap. Plus there will be all kinds of mods start coming out now that construction kit is out for it..well assuming you have the PC version.

CymTyr: I do have the PC version :D

Heh I'm wondering how long it'll be before we see FO1 and FO2 made with the FO3 engine. I give it a year.
Hi Im new to the site. Ive been playing the game for about 3 years and I love it. Still havn't gone through the story line 100% yet, but Im working on it. Hope you are all well and enjoying the Sacred Buzz.

Just bought Sacred yesterday, along with a few others. I really like RPG's but I've been known to get into many genres: FPS, Strat., Puzzle, Adventure. not nec. in that order. For me it all depends on the game, on how well it is designed, story, gameplay etc. I do look forward to going through this one as it was PC Gamer's RPG of the year '04.
It would be fantastic if a MP area could be made available on/through this site somewhere.
Hey guys,
I just found this website when I did a search for Sacred Gold. So far this website seems pretty cool, and the community seems to be nice too. I just bought the game and am downloading as I am typing this. My main PC is an ASUs Eee PC 1002HA, 1.6 Atom, 160GB, 1 GB Ram, Windows XP and Intel 950GMA. I get around 15fps in WOW, so this game should run pretty smooth. See ya around
Well I hope you enjoy the game! It is a good deal for the money you are paying for it, that is for sure. Should keep you busy for a bit. Welcome and I hope you find more games you like at GOG

Not sure what you mean? This game includes Multiplayer or are you talking about a specific forum *just* for people to get together for multiplayer matchups? Hmm.... that would be a good idea.

You can always go to the Unofficial Official GOG IRC channel and try asking around if anyone is interested in MP'ing Sacred with you...irc.quakenet.org #gog is the IRC address.

Yeah but there are a whole bunch of people (Including me) that don't use IRC. It's a good option for those that do, but I think there could be something for those that don't.

Hi everyone!
I'm utterly new to Sacred, I'm downloading it as I type this. I've done 'extensive research' on the net, reading reviews, the threads on here and other sites, youtube, etc, and this game just looks cool!
I cannot wait to get into it, create a character and go loot some stuff! :)
Cheers - Nel!
Hello!
I'm little more than green to this a I played the game a couple years back before I lost the disc and I loved so I know I'm goingto love this especially with the two new classes. Now I can make a a dwarf character that I always wanted to make. I hope have my character save fro ma couple years past.
Have fun! This game is definitely great stuff.
I downloaded Sacred several months back and am enjoying it. But man, this game is tough. I'm not used to playing action RPGs, maybe I'm doing something wrong. I just escorted a noble and his bodyguard to Porto Vallum and I'm already level 20. The goblins and bandits east of Silver Creek kicked my butt for a long time. And they respawned like crazy! Is it normal to achieve such high a level so close to the beginning of the game? Other than that, I enjoy it.

You do seem to progress very quickly in this game, but I like that. I just started playing last night and only have 6-8 hours in so far, but it's been a blast. I like the relaxed way you can play, just wander around and do what you will, complete quests as you wish -- or not. Just have fun! Some games forget that you're supposed to be having fun! This one does not.
And I really dig the 'feel' they put in it. You can tell the gang working on this were into what they were doing. These European RPG's are fantastic! They definitely have a different feel and I really am enjoying them (e.g. Sacred, Gothic, Witcher, etc.).
Highly recommended!

I really like how alive the world feels compared to so many others like it. I never got the feeling of the world being so alive in towns in Diablo, for instance. They just seemed to be launching points and hearing/reading dialogue was fairly agonizing IMO. I can deal with it here in Sacred without thinking "Oh STFU and give me the Zirconium of Zanzibar already."
I finished my first SG play through about four weeks ago, took me 91 hrs over several months. REALLY enjoyed the game. The respawn was a bit tedious but helped in leveling up quickly. A few broken side quests but nothing major.
Was going to start a different SG character till I found Divine Divinity, DD turned out to be so buggy that I have returned to SG. DD, once patched, will be a great "next game" if you like SG, imho. Wait till it is patched though.
