Just to point out, someone might refer to the LINE of PlayStation consoles as PS X, although I've never heard anyone do that. Originally, of course, the PlayStation was referred to... the PlayStation. Years later, after the PS2 came out, people started referring to them as PS1, PS2 and etc.

Again, I've never in my life heard anyone use the term PS X. It would be too easy to confuse it with an Xbox console. However, in the right context, someone MIGHT refer to the chain of consoles that way. That is probably where you got the idea from.

As mentioned multiple times, it's significantly less concise to call it that, so the argument is completely null and void. It is SIMPLER and more concise to call it a PS1, as most people already do.
Absolutely embarassing thing to get so worked up over.

Wild.Dog: -Chris can't make V-Jolt which is funny, because the instructions are easy, he was extra dummy on the og version..
Jill can make the V-Jolt making the fight way easier even getting help from Barry.
Just a minor note here: if you tell Rebecca to go with you, she will make the V-Jolt for you and also help with the fight.
If you don't wait for Barry to bring you the rope, he won't help you.

So the difficulty of this particular fight isn't as much decided by character choice as to whether or not you take your companion along.
Okay. So Jill's first playthrough is really easy. No Ink Ribbons, etc. etc. Second playthrough as Jill is significantly harder, Hunters and Tyrant take more damage, ink ribbons, etc. Just finished a first playthrough for Chris, and noticed that it was easier than the second playthrough as Jill. Is Chris' second run even harder than Jill's second run? I've been killing everything, and barely scraped through on both the second Jill run (had to use knife on the last zombie, had exactly enough bullets to down the Tyrant), and the first Chris run (1 handgun bullet left, and about 20 magnum). Taking into account the extra Chimeras Chris gets, and how many more magnum shots the Tyrant took on Jill 2nd run, I don't see this being possible if a Chris second run is also significantly harder. Unless it gives extra ammo to accommodate?

It's funny because few people that told you were wrong, are from countries from Europe. Italy and Germany....
Gemini already told you that ps1 =/= PSOne..
Even i put scans of the manuals, but if it makes you happy, go on.
I'm from Germany and never heard anyone say PSX when the console released.

GeminiREbirth: PS1 ≠ PSOne (one indicates a line of consoles, the other is just model and it doesn't write with a '1' anyways, makes zero sense). But please, do add more arbitrary mirror climbing just to have the last word, it's very entertaining.

Shocker650: I don't understand why is it so hard for you to accept that the PSX name is not official. It's PS1 rather you like it or not. Even if we don't count the fact that the name PS1 is official, it's just stupid to call it PSX, when all the other consoles have a number after PS without an X.
If you want to be technical, the original console was ALWAYS called the PSX for short. Presumably after the PS2 came out. The PS One was actually the slim version of the original PS. Hideous little thing. But PS One is not the original console. That would be revisionist history to say it is. It's just called Playstation.
