Hey,
I'm currently playing through the 4th map of episode 2 ("The Ruins") and I've reached a point where I can't seem to go any further. See the attached image below.
This door requires a key to open. I have all three keys in the level yet I still can't open it. I read somewhere that it's a bug and you're supposed to use the 'rdkeys' cheat which I tried and it still won't open. Has anybody else encountered this? Will I have to use the 'rdclip' cheat to go through the door or is there a legitimate way to open it?

I never did find a way to open that door legitimately. I had to use a cheat to walk through the door to continue on. :) That was the only instance in that game where I had to do that.

I cheated as well to get through the door. I was running RR on XP with VDMSound since the DOSBox wrapper GOG supplies was unplayably slow on my system. I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it, though. Frustrating as heck and I went around in circles for hours before I realized it was a bug.

I'm having trouble with this level too. I found this thread from a google search for Redneck Rampage The Ruins.
I found all the keys and if I did everything right the third oe lets you flip a switch by a door. I know where Bubba is but I can't get to him/
Here's a picture of where I am. What do I do from here? Thanks.

Oh--in regards to the orinigal post, the third key lets you flip the switch which allows you to go through the door. At least that works in my version. There may be other versions of the game where there's a bug.

This is a bug that sometimes happens.
I just played this map and had this problem, killed me, played again and it worked.
If you flip the switch and it says "locked" you run into the bug an have to do the map again, if it says "unlocked" the doors open.

There seems to be a bug that sometimes makes blocks the door to bubba. Best solution if this happens is just type in "rdclip" which activates the clipping mode and walk through. Be sure to turn off clipping mode by typping in rdclip again once you are with Bubba, though.

Hey!!! I think that I solved this bug!! Just comment the "fix.exe" line in dosboxRR.conf
I've restarted the level like 20 times and it seems to be worked for me :)
the line should look like this after editing the file:
#fix.exe

I too played it up to the door, then realized that there´s a bug and loaded an older savegame. I worked! Unfortuantely I got greedy an replayed the level with all the secrets etc wanted to open the door and *bam* stuck again - door stays "locked". Ok, no problem, reload again. Bug. reload again. Bug.

I´m really annoyed quite now. I tried cheating but it just won´t work just typing them in while playing.
Jaimefortega´s solution doesnt work either.

Is there anyway I can restart the whole level? (All other savegames left would throw my back to the first episode - I'd rather uninstall the game and forget it).
I should mention that I'm playing on the second hardest difficulty - someone here mentioned that cheats don't work in that case. Any workaround maybe?

it works, you just need to restart the level after commenting fix.exe in dosboxRR.conf, you can restart the level typing:
rdskill1-5
rdskill2 for the second difficulty
did i mention that i'm using the latest dosbox version (0.74)?

Idiot me.. Not the game's fault, it's mine. If you accidentally kill bubba (Which I did!) and you are in god mode (Elvis Lives mode) You can't open/unlock the door, and if you pull out of god mode you get killed... Kind of explained A LOT!!
